L.O.L.O.M. – Light Of Life Outreach Ministries

The Yacobians (Greg and Ana) lead the LOLOM in South Texas and into Mexico with backpacks to needy youth in Mexico for school, water filters for safe water, clothing and food for needy families.

We re highlighting the Christmas Angels Outreach where they began in 2011 with delivering Christmas gifts to 20 needy children in Reynosa, Mexico. They now bless 600 plus needy children each Christmas. They match sponsors with needy kids in poor communities. Each child receives a toy, winter clothing, and candy. Through this ministry they capture the opportunity to point them to our help and Hope in Jesus!

October 25, 2026 Announcements:

Operation Christmas Child kickoff! Our goal is to send 100 boxes, get yours in the foyer and start packing!

Every Tuesday morning is the men's prayer time at 9:00.
Every Friday morning is the women's prayer time at 10:00.

October 26th - Women's bible Study at 10:00am.

October 28th - Adult Mid Week Bible Study. We will continue our study "Be Satisfied" by Warren Wiersbe as he guides us through Ecclesiastes as we are looking for the answer to the meaning of life.

November 7th - Central Texas District meeting at New Beginnings.

November 14th - FWAC Meeting, fellowship at 9:30 followed by meeting at 10:00. Special guest, Cindy Cunningham with Village of Hope Uganda.

November 15th - Special guest, Cindy Cunningham with Village of Hope Uganda.

November 15th - Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes due.

November 15th - Thanksgiving meal. The church will provide the turkey and ham, congregation to provide sides and dessert.

Operation Christmas Child….sending the gospel to the ends of the earth.

The mission of Operation Christmas Child is to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way to children in need around the world, and together with the local church worldwide, to share the Good News of Jesus Christ and make disciples of the nations.

Operation Christmas Child equips and empowers local churches all over the world to share the Gospel. In the United States and 10 other countries, churches play an essential role in packing and collecting shoebox gifts. Individuals, families, congregations, and groups lovingly fill the boxes with toys, school supplies, and personal care items

You too can send Good News and great joy as part of a joint effort with churches around the world. By packing shoebox gifts, you’re helping to spread the Gospel. Remember to make each shoebox gift fun, full, and personalized. Anyone can participate by filling an empty shoebox full of fun toys, school supplies, personal care items, and a “wow” item, such as a doll or soccer ball. The “wow” item makes a joyful first impression when the child opens the shoebox. A $10 donation per shoebox helps cover shoebox collection, shipping, processing, training local volunteers, and Gospel materials.

Be sure to personalize the gifts so each child feels unique and special. Consider including a letter and a photo of you or your group. And don’t forget the most important thing you can add to a shoebox gift—prayer! As you pack each shoebox, pray for the child who will receive it.

Hearing the Good News of Jesus Christ can change children’s lives—now and for eternity! One of the most meaningful Gospel truths for children to hear is how much Jesus loves them. He said in Matthew 19:14: “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.”

Today we recognized Bro Doug in an attempt to show our appreciation for all he does. Just one Thank You does not seem adequate so we decided to make cards available for anyone that wanted to write a special note and we collected lots! Each card contained a few puzzle pieces to a personalized puzzle. He will enjoy reading the individual messages and hopefully will be able to put his puzzle together to reveal a final message. Bro Doug, we are blessed by you over and over, we thank God for you and love you!
