We are once again participating in this year's Brazos Valley Gives Day. We are excited this year because we have received a $5000.00 matching grant, and when we match it, the donor will give an additional $5000.00! All donations this year will go towards our building project. Early giving has begun and you can click on the QR code to make a donation.

We are currently in Belize making preparations for our Medical Team to arrive in a few days.

Here is our schedule and locations for our clinics this year.

Monday, 7 July: Louisville RC School.
Tuesday, 8 July: Progresso RC School.
Wednesday, 9 July: Sarteneja RC School.
Thursday, 10 July: San Jaoquin RC School.
Friday, 11 July: San Jaoquin RC School.

We would like to invite everyone to come out to our clinics to receive medical check-ups. Our eye team will be able to give eye exams and provide glasses as well as sun glasses for adults and children. Everyone will also receive a toothbrush. All of our services including lab tests and pharmacy are offered FREE OF CHARGE!! We will start seeing patients at 9:00 a.m. It is first come first serve so get there early.

We are looking forward to seeing our friends and making new ones as well. See you soon!

Wrapping up another great week in Belize. Thursday and Friday we were in the village of San Joaquin. We were able to treat 216 patients there. This is the village we go to every year and it was great to see so many friends and patients we have treated for many years. Gave out one more wheel chair to a lady that broke her ankle a month ago and it has still not been treated. We referred her to the hospital for X-rays and further treatment. We were able to get provide some needed equipment to help a patient with spinal-bifida have a better quality of life.

We are very grateful for the opportunity to be here and continue to serve the people of Belize. We treated 817 patients this year and we are looking forward to 2025, our 30th year!

For some reason my post from yesterday morning didn’t show up, so, here is an update from the past two days.

On Tuesday, we went to the village of Caledonian and had a very busy day. We were able to treat 180 patients. We also made a house call to a patient that was unable to get out. We treated her and gave her a new wheelchair. When we were getting ready to leave, we asked if she would some help getting in the chair and she said, “I just want to look at it for a while.” Very sweet family and we left blessed!

Yesterday we went to the village of San Victor. The majority of the patients were Spanish speaking, so our translators were very busy. We treated 154 patients. We made three house call, gave out two more wheelchairs, and a pair of crutches. Throughout the day, we gave away 12 canes as well. One sweet older lady was using a stick as a cane and when we gave her a new cane, she threw the stick out the window and said, “I don’t need that anymore!” She was excited. It is so rewarding to be able to serve so many people, who are so appreciative of our efforts to serve, to help them and to share the love of Jesus.

Today, we will be in San Joaquin. Looking forward to a busy day and seeing many of our returning patients there.

Very happy to be back in Belize with our Medical Team for the 29th year! After a busy weekend preparing and conducting a couple of mini clinics, we had our first full clinic in the village of Louisville yesterday. It was a good day. We had good weather, a good turnout, and we were able to treat 200 patients. So grateful for the opportunity to be here.

Today we will set up in Caledonian. This village is a little further out, so travel could be interesting. Looking forward to it.
