Today we honor and remember Barbara Christensen — a beloved mother, grandmother, dear friend, and such an important part of our church family. Barbara was hilarious, full of life, and always knew how to make people laugh. Her joy, warmth, and faithful spirit brightened every room she entered.

She was a cherished member of The Equipping Church, and her presence, love, and laughter will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

May 12, 1945 – April 26, 2026

Rest peacefully, Barbara. Your laughter and love will live in our hearts forever. 🤍

Good Friday | The Turning of an Epoch

Today, we remember a moment that did not just mark a day… it marked the end of an age.

Good Friday stands as the great dividing line in history — an EPOCH where everything shifted.

The weight of sin.
The silence of heaven.
The suffering of Christ.

What looked like defeat…
was actually the dismantling of darkness.

What felt like the end…
was the beginning of a new covenant.

At the cross, Jesus did not just die —
He closed one era and opened another.

The veil was torn.
Access was granted.
Mercy triumphed over judgment.

This is the EPOCH where:
• Separation became reconciliation
• Shame met redemption
• Death gave way to life

Today, we pause.

We reflect.

We honor the Lamb who was slain — not as a victim of history, but as the Author of a new one.
