PSALMS 146:9
BUT THE WAY OF THE WICKED HE TURNS UPSIDE DOWN
In Psalms 146 starting in verse 3, we read and learn that, as Spiritually Minded Believers, we are not to put our earnest and heartfelt trust in man, no matter their position or status in life. Verse 4 explains why: they are just men whose bodies go back to the earth and whose spirit departs when death comes. In that very day, their plans perish.
Verse 5 tells us that happy are we who hope in the Lord and have the God of Jacob (or Israel) as our help. Verse 6 describes how He made the earth, the sea, the entire universe, and all it contains. It also states that He keeps truth forever!
Verse 7 states that He executes justice for the oppressed, gives food to the hungry, and grants freedom to the prisoners. Verse 8 tells us He opens the eyes of the blind and raises whoever appears to be bowed down. He loves the righteous people. Verse 9 explains that He watches over the strangers and relieves the fatherless and the widow. (This word "relieves" actually means to duplicate or repeat and restore.) But the way of the wicked He turns upside down! Finally, in verse 10, we discover that the Lord shall reign forever!
As Spiritually Minded Believers, we already know these truths. However, it always does our souls good to re-discover them, to refresh them, and to bring them to the forefront of our thinking. With a renewed mind and sense of urgency, we can then share them with others, especially as we see that day approaching!

EPHESIANS 2:3
FULFILLING THE DESIRES OF THE FLESH AND OF THE MIND
In Ephesians chapter 2 verse 4 we see that this verse begins with the phrase "But God", to the Spiritually Minded Believer this phrase should produce the Spiritual force of Joy in our inner man since it is a break in the natural flow of things. "But God", my-my what an absolutely awe-inspiring phrase that makes us truly believe that what God said, God meant!
Keeping that in mind, we go back to verse 1 and see that it was Jesus who actually gave us His life. Since we had already been pronounced dead because of our trespass against God. We have all walked this out to some extent, because that is the natural course of things born of this corrupt world since the spirit of disobedience which, by the way, is right now, working in the children of disobedience which you and I were once a partaker of!
It was that spirit of disobedience that caused us to conduct our own lives the way we see fit and filling ourselves up with everything that we could imagine and whatever things were suggested to us by others following the same path of destruction. It was our nature; we didn’t seem like we could help it much less stop it on our own and if you were like me, you didn’t really want to or have any reason good enough to even try to stop! But God!!!

PROVERBS 13:10
BY PRIDE COMES NOTHING BUT STRIFE
Pride, what a divisive word! When the world, or I should more accurately say, when the enemy of our souls, the devil, hijacks a word that has exclusively been used by God the Father to denote His displeasure in the way man has succumbed to the promptings of the enemy in place of the promptings of Holy Spirit, the understood meaning of the word becomes perverted and his followers will twist it and attempt to give it a new definition which is more to their liking than the original intent.
Pride, by God's standard, indicates the state of a man's thinking and perception of what he is or has become as if it was by the man's own design or by his own doings. Once a man begins to seriously consider that his way or his purpose is entirely of his own considerations, then the door is open to the disrupter and the tormentors of our souls.
The Spiritually Minded Believer should be completely trusting what the Word of God is telling us. In these verses it tells us that by pride comes NOTHING but strife, but if we pay attention to the scriptures and have become well advised, wisdom will come into our thought life and prevail over pride EVERY TIME it attempts to exert itself into our thoughts and rule our flesh. Remember what 1st Peter 5:8-9 instructs us to do; stay sober, be vigilant, resist him (the devil) steadfast in faith and knowing the outcome of our faith will help us realize we already have Victory!

2ND CORINTHIANS 2:14
THANKS BE TO GOD WHO ALWAYS LEADS US IN TRIUMPH IN CHRIST
As a Spiritually Minded Believer we will always triumph, this word triumph is an interesting word in the Greek language, meaning that a group is to make a proclamation of the decisive win while proceeding from the victory over an enemy on our way to always conquering EVERY enemy of God and of His Christ!
Then Paul begins to speak of us as having a fragrance of His knowledge of this victory everywhere we go! This must be why the sons of disobedience can oftentimes tell that we are not of this world, perhaps this is why they attempt to treat us poorly once they have confirmed in their minds that we are not with them, and that we are only here to subdue it by the authority that Jesus turned over to us by His death, burial, resurrection and ascension to the right hand of God in the heavenlies! We smell like life to some that are perhaps seeking this life, but death to those who are in rebellion to the Spirit of life.
The aroma of death to those which are heading into destruction which have been convinced of the lie that the enemy whispers and by which he traps them into becoming his slaves to work discord in this present age.
The aroma of life to those seeking life because we are not in this Faith life for what we can gain by it, we are not "peddling" the Word of God but living it out in front of their very eyes to the glory of God the Father and our Lord Jesus the anointed one!
