2ND KINGS 17:33
THEY FEARED THE LORD YET SERVED THEIR OWN GODS
When we read the seventeenth chapter of 2nd Kings, we begin to realize something sobering. An entire nation—delivered from the house of bo***ge in Egypt and brought into a land flowing with every good thing—had only one requirement: obedience to the Lord and His commands.
Instead, they mingled with the natives of the land, and slowly they began to act just like them.
The Lord sent prophet after prophet to warn them and call them back. But they grew complacent, content with a mediocre existence instead of the abundant life the Lord had prepared for them.
Their disobedience brought affliction upon themselves and their children—until they were carried away from the fruitful land the Lord had given them and found themselves right back in bo***ge. Soon, foreigners dwelt in their cities, took control of the land, and did not fear the Lord or even consider Him. So, He sent destruction into their midst, until Israel sent a priest to teach them of the Lord. Yet even then, they served idols—and even placed them in the shrines where God Himself had dwelt.
They learned to fear the Lord, yet they served their own gods, despite being taught the things of the Lord. Much like some do today—having a form of godliness, but denying the power of Him, to their own demise.
As Spiritually Minded Believers, we do not deny God's power. But we do deny the power these so-called idols may seem to have.

MATTHEW 28:18
IN HEAVEN AND ON EARTH
As Spiritually Minded Believers, we should always be aware of the authority Jesus has been given—and has passed along to us.
In Matthew 28:18–20, Jesus declares that ALL authority has been given to Him in heaven and on earth. Because of that authority, He commands us to go, make disciples of all nations, baptize them, and teach them everything He has commanded. And He gives us this assurance: “I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
We must consider the significance of the words “all,” “heaven,” and “earth.” Jesus operated on the earth with the same authority and purpose of heaven, confronting darkness in every form. He never surrendered to opposition or accepted defeat. He enforced the will of God because He knew who He was, understood the authority He carried, and knew He had the power to accomplish what He was sent to do.
Jesus has now returned to the Father, but His authority and power have not left the earth. They have been entrusted to His Body—the Church—to continue His work: enforcing God’s will, standing against the enemy, overcoming obstacles, and advancing the Word of God.
Through Christ, dominion has been restored to mankind. Satan does not have the authority over the believer that he once claimed. We must learn who we are in Christ, understand the authority we have been given, and learn to walk in His power.
We are called to stand against principalities, powers, rulers of darkness, and spiritual wickedness in high places.
If we will, then we can—because He said we can!

MATTHEW 24:12
BECAUSE LAWLESSNESS WILL ABOUND
On His final visit to Jerusalem, after the triumphal entry, Jesus faced mounting challenges from religious leaders. They questioned Him on authority, taxation, the resurrection, and the greatest commandment. Then came something profound: He pronounced woes upon them, expressing deep grief and regret as He lamented over Jerusalem itself.
From there, His focus shifted to what lay ahead. He began predicting Jerusalem's destruction and revealed the signs that would herald the end of the age. His disciples pressed Him with one piercing question: "When will these things be?"
Jesus painted a vivid picture. Deceivers would emerge, claiming "He is here" or "there," but warned—this was not yet the end. Wars and rumors of wars would erupt. Nations would rise against nations, kingdoms against kingdoms. Famines, pestilences, earthquakes—all indicators of the beginning of sorrows.
As a Spiritually Minded Believer, we can clearly see these things unfolding now. People growing easily offended. Christians facing hatred in nearly every nation. Friends betraying friends. We witness this in today's world across every culture.
But when love grows cold, when common decency ceases to be common, when lawlessness abounds—then comes the final marker: His gospel will be preached throughout the entire world. And then, the end will come.

A time of rejoicing to welcome back the King of Kings and Lord of Lords!!!
Not a time of fear or despair, unless you don't know HIM!
But we can take care of that RIGHT NOW! Simply believe that Jesus is who He says He is and that He will do the Things that He said He will do!
Renounce any wicked ways in your life and call upon His name and you will be saved! It is that simple!

MATTHEW 19:28
THAT IN THE REGENERATION
As a Spiritually Minded Believer, when we read the gospel according to Matthew, we must always keep in mind that Matthew was a Jew and he was writing to Jews, so when we study the story of the rich young ruler that questioned Jesus saying, "What must I do in order to obtain eternal life"? it will help us understand that we, ourselves, cannot DO anything except choose to believe! Jesus told him to keep the commandments and he asked, "which ones"! ALL OF THEM! And he claimed that he was keeping them all!
Jesus changes his question from obtaining eternal life to being perfect, but this distressed him so much that he went away sad because he loved his stuff! Then the disciples began to wonder if anyone could be saved! Jesus assured them that with God all things are possible! Peter asked Him, "what shall we have?"
Then Jesus began to unfold the plan of eternity that God had shared with Him, letting them know "that in the regeneration", the resurrecting of their mortal bodies into their glorified bodies, that they would sit as judges of the nation of Israel! Whoever had left all of their personal belongings to follow Him would, indeed, receive much more, and then eternal life! Hallelujah!
