MATTHEW 18:3
UNLESS YOU ARE CONVERTED AND BECOME AS LITTLE CHILDREN
In the Gospel according to Matthew, chapter 18, we read that His disciples came to Him, asking about who is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven.
Jesus answered them by calling a small child to Him, sitting with the child in the midst of them, and telling them that if they did not change their way of thinking and begin to fully trust Him and what He taught, they would not even enter into the Kingdom of Heaven! If they would humble themselves and be like little children, full of awe and wonder, they would be the greatest in the Kingdom!
As a Spiritually Minded Believer, we believe without question; we trust without question! Have you ever noticed, while raising children, that around 4 years of age children begin to question everything? If you tell or show them something they begin asking "Why?". They are not asking for a detailed explanation of the inner workings of a complicated issue or even for the finer details of a certain topic. They are simply asking about basic information, so you keep it simple, in terms they can readily understand. A loving parent should never say "because I said so, that's why!"
We must always remember that Holy Spirit is our guide. As we learn to follow Jesus, He will lead us into all truth. He will instruct us as to what to say and how to best represent the Kingdom we have been entrusted to enforce! Little children follow their guide gladly without being unruly or disobedient.

TITUS 1:16
THEY PROFESS TO KNOW GOD
In the first-century church, as the body of Christ grew rapidly, Jewish Christians faced a tough challenge converting fellow Jews who did not yet believe Jesus was the Messiah.
Titus, a trusted Christian leader and close companion of the Apostle Paul, was a Gentile believer. Because he was not Jewish, many Jews were reluctant to listen to him teach about a Jewish Messiah. Yet Titus had accompanied Paul to Jerusalem as a living example that Gentiles could receive salvation without following the Law of Moses.
Paul later left Titus on the island of Crete to organize the young churches. His mission was clear: appoint elders in every town, finish what was left undone, combat false teachings, and promote sound doctrine and godly living (Titus 1:5). As an early Gentile convert, Titus had outstanding credentials for this work.
While there, Paul warned him about the opposition: “For there are many insubordinate deceivers, especially those of the circumcision, who must be silenced, because they are upsetting whole families by teaching for dishonest gain” (Titus 1:10-11). Paul called for sharp rebuke so these false teachers could be restored to sound faith.
As Spiritually Minded Believers, we remember Paul’s powerful words: “To the pure, all things are pure, but to the defiled and unbelieving, nothing is pure; both their minds and consciences are defiled. They profess to know God, but they deny Him by their works”. Let us live as people who are qualified for every good work.

1 THESSALONIANS 4:3
FOR THIS IS THE WILL OF GOD, YOUR SANCTIFICATION
Sanctification…..the carnal or casual Christian cringes at that word, why? Because they hold a modern, rational definition of it, when in reality it means that a person has been set apart-separated to a specific lifestyle and calling in which they become productive in and for the Kingdom of God!
Many churchy people equate sanctification with holiness, assuming it means living by a strict set of rules or regulated behavior-as if good conduct draws them closer to God, or earns them some special favor from Him. I am compelled to remind such ones: your own effort at righteousness does not impress God, and it doesn't afford you any special standing in the Spiritual realm. It may bring attention to you by others, but that is a shallow reward!
As a Spiritually Minded Believer we must understand that sanctification is a work performed in us by Holy Spirit! It is a purifying, a setting apart, that God the Father wills for every believer-not just a select type or a certain denomination.
Just imagine how much sooner the Lord would be granted permission to come back to earth to receive His bride, if we all began to live a Holy, Pure and Sanctified life-without hypocrisy or expectation of personal gain. Verse 4 reminds us that we should already know how to possess ourselves rightly and bring honor to God.

Introducing the latest Spiritually Minded Minute, #82. Most believers nowadays don't fully understand the sanctification process or that it is actually a work of Holy Spirit to prepare believers for their purpose or call. It is Him that gives us the insight into Spiritual matters. Sanctification simply means "called out of and into" your specific role for these last days.

PROVERBS 18:7
A FOOL'S MOUTH IS HIS DESTRUCTION
In Proverbs 18:2, the book of wisdom begins to reveal to us that the fool has no delight, no interest, nor any desire to gain understanding. Their only interest is in expressing their own feelings, thoughts, or beliefs. As Spiritually Minded Believers, we must always look into this book of wisdom to gain knowledge and understanding. Verse 4 tells us about the words of our mouths: they are like deep waters. Many times, we cannot tell what is in them, but if we gain wisdom, then knowledge will flow from our mouths like a brook or stream.
Verse 6 instructs us further when it states that a fool’s lips will bring him into contention and strife. If he keeps running his mouth, he will come to blows or fighting. How many times have we witnessed an altercation turn physical because one or both parties refused to simply remain quiet? Yet they just can’t seem to accomplish that. Verse 7 continues this thought: a fool’s mouth is his destruction. His lips—or more accurately, his words—will be like a snare to his soul. You know a snare is a very effective way to trap something. Once trapped, the victim cannot easily escape but is held fast, rendering them helpless. A snare is designed to hold tighter and tighter the more the snared one struggles against it.
Verse 8 also speaks about words, stating that they seem satisfying when said, but they go deep into the soul of people and do more harm than good. Praise God! Verse 10 reveals that the name of the Lord is a place of security, and the righteous run to it. If you are wise, you will run swiftly to it and be safe, beyond the reach of the enemy of our soul.
