an update on Sarah. Lets pray specific not general.

**SUSHI UPDATE**

4 words are in my head right now: I trust you Lord. I trust you, Lord-- and I know you are here with me! I am praying so hard that this story can be used for His glory.

We got our first detailed scan back last night, an MRI, and it was a doozy. We learned of a tumor that we did not know about, and the fibroid has grown. My first scan in October had the fibroid at 8 centimeters, my second in November at 9 centimeters. It is now 10.3 centimeters. That fibroid is an estrogen production center that is feeding the sushi and making it grow. We also know where the tendrils came from that they were able to biopsy. They came from a 5cm malignant tumor that is in my uterus, that is endometrial adenocarcinoma. That means there is are 15 centimeters of tumor in my belly-- no wonder my back hurt so bad!! I put the photo below. The light colored tumor on the left side is the fibroid. The dark colored circle on the right side allowed us to look directly at that angry sushi for the first time. It was a little intimidating to look a diagnosis square in the face.

We are waiting on one final test to make sure it's not in my lymph or other places. It's called a PET scan. That will give us some clear answers on staging so we can make decisions.

God bless you guys for your prayer cover. What a month this has been! But I have had so many Godwinks... sweet friends writing. My sister doing a Raindrop for the first time in her life. A neat moment with my 15 year old son. So much prayer cover and so much gratitude.
