We're thrilled to announce that we've hired a Program Coordinator for Highlands! Anna Judy started work on January 2nd, and her office is in the Retreat Center. Stop by when you're in the neighborhood and help us welcome her for this exciting adventure at Highlands.

Hello! My name is Anna Judy and I am the new Program Coordinator for Highlands Presbyterian Camp and Retreat Center. I am so excited for this new journey and for the opportunity to create meaningful programs at Highlands.

I grew up in the plains of Nebraska, and I now call the Rocky Mountains home. I live in Estes Park with my husband, Jason and our cat, Jesse. In my free time, I love to hike, backpack, camp, cook and bake, and eat good food with good people. I’m a sucker for a road trip, live music, sunshine, cheese, popcorn, and playing outside. My undergraduate degree is in Recreation Management from the University of Nebraska at Kearney, and I earned my masters degree in Natural Science Education from the University of Northern Colorado through a graduate fellowship at Walking Mountains Science Center. During this fellowship, I taught environmental education and completed an action research project on the benefits of free play for students and the power of learning from nature. I draw inspiration from the interconnectedness of living beings and the natural world. My mission is to help others find the same inspiration and connection in nature as I feel when I walk through the trees. At Highlands, I plan to offer programs for community members, youth, families, adults, and church and conference groups. Some of my ideas include retreat weekends and workshops (think yoga, photography, writing etc.), educational programs, and an interpretive nature loop. My goal is to create space and opportunity for people to connect with nature, spirit, each other, and themselves. Come visit us soon and stay tuned
for new program offerings. See you outside!

For Mary, Jesus truly became fully God and fully human. She loved all of him, because through him she had experienced a love that embraced all of her. This is the wholeness that heals the world and brings us into eternal life.

What would it look like for us to see Jesus as he is? Not merely as we want him to be, or even need him to be, but in the fullness of his glory—fully human and fully God? What would it mean for us to love him with our whole hearts, and live for him from that wholeheartedness?
