At our “Stop the Bleed” workshop, many of us learned life-saving skills designed to help in emergency situations before professional medical help arrives. Participants were taught how to recognize severe bleeding, properly apply direct pressure, pack wounds, and use a tourniquet to help save a life in a critical moment. These hands-on skills can make a real difference during accidents, emergencies, or traumatic injuries. We are grateful to the attendees and volunteer leaders.
