PAY ATTENTION

Then He said to them, “Take heed what you hear. With the same measure you use, it will be measured to you; and to you who hear, more will be given.
Mark 4:24 (NKJV)
Read Mark 4:21-29 for context

Jesus said, "Pay attention to what you hear!" Then He shared the spiritual principle of reciprocity. With the measure you use, it will be measured to you. In other words, the more Scripture reading, praying, seeking, and discerning you do, the more understanding you receive. He also highlighted the generosity of God. He not only gives back in proportion to your effort but gives an extra measure of discernment. That's how God's kingdom works. He is amazingly generous.

God seeks responsive hearts that are open, ready to hear, and desire understanding. Attentive listeners will hear from God Almighty, who gives understanding. Listening and trust walk hand in hand as we surrender to His will.

Prayer:
Father, help me to be slow to speak and quick to listen.
Give me understanding to apply Your truths to my life.

VBS PRE-REGISTRATION:
Slide in for VBS with us at our VBS Pre Registration Event on Saturday, June 6, 2026. Come out to Marshes of Glynn Baptist Church from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM for a fun afternoon with a waterslide, games, a light lunch, and the chance to pre-register for our One Day Only VBS. VBS is open to children who have completed Kindergarten through 5th grade, and you can also complete VBS registration on this webpage below and bring to the event.

We are located at 3780 US HWY 82, Brunswick, GA 31523, and an ID is required for an authorized pickup person.

For reference, the VBS itself is scheduled for Saturday, June 20, 2026, from 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with registration beginning at 9:00 AM.
