Almighty God, whose eyes run to and fro throughout the whole earth, looking to show Yourself strong in behalf of them whose heart is perfect towards You; O God, our hearts are set towards You this morning, that You might look upon us with Your great grace.

Lord we desire to give ourselves completely to You and to trust You, O God, for You alone are worthy of our complete confidence. No problem is too difficult for You; There is no petition that we can bring to You in prayer that is too perplexing or hard for You to answer; no need too great for You to supply; no misdirected passion too strong for You to restrain; no temptation too powerful for You to deliver us from; no misery too deep for You to relieve! You are God and there is Nothing too hard for You !

We resolve in this moment to Let Go and Let God; to cast all of our cares upon, being assured that You care for US! Hear our prayers, O God; give ear to the words of our mouths; and grant us this day, the peace that surpasses all understanding!
In JESUS name!

Puddles or Pipelines

He who has a generous eye will be blessed, for he gives of his bread to the poor.
Proverbs 22:9

Are you a puddle or a pipeline? When water collects in a puddle, it becomes stagnant and brackish; it has no outlet or circulation. A pipeline, on the other hand, is filled with water; its job is to convey refreshing liquid to the spigot for the benefit of others. What flows in is meant to flow out.

Proverbs reminds us that God blesses those who live according to His will. But His blessings are never intended for selfish consumption. From the beginning, God told His people they would be blessed to become a blessing to others.

Think how God has blessed you—your time, resources, and opportunities. Are those blessings collecting like stagnant puddles, or are they flowing like life-giving streams? The healthiest Christian life is one marked by both receiving and releasing. Ask the Lord today to make you a channel of living water. As you bless others, you’ll discover something wonderful: God keeps the pipeline full.

God prospers me not to raise my standard of living, but to raise my standard of giving.

Almighty God,
Thank You for keeping us and for waking us to see and be part of yet another day that YOU have made. Lord we are determined to be glad and rejoice in it. Therefore we pray this day for the health and strength of Your people.

By Your word, dear Lord, You have declared that with Your stripes, we are healed. So today we pray, by the mercies of Christ, that You would look upon the infirmities of Your people, and heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among them. Heal us, O LORD, and we shall be healed; save us, and we shall be saved: for You are our praise. O God, grant those in need of a healing, the faith required to receive Your healing grace; grant them also, dear God, the power to be delivered from the denial of their eating habits so that they may eat to live; from their willingness to smoke, to drink and to expose themselves to disease as a reckless behavior.

O God, we pray for not just any healing today, but God we petition Your Throne of Grace, and intercede also for those who have terminal illnesses. Lord GOD, perform a MIRACLE in their bodies today; that by Your healing power, lives would be forever changed, and You Lord, would be forever exalted and glorified! In the matchless name of Jesus the Christ, we do pray and declare it all.
Amen.

Like a bird that wanders from its nest is a man who wanders from his place. (Proverbs 27:8)

With just a few words, Solomon painted a heart-touching picture of a bird away from its place of safety and security – the nest where it belongs.

This proverb made Charles Spurgeon think about those who seem to wander from church to church. “Too many in our London churches are a sort of flying camp, always flying from one place to another – a set of gypsy-Christians, who have no settled abode, and no local habitation.”

We have a place appointed by God, and we can be as out of place as a bird without a nest if we wander from it. We need to take care that we perceive our place not as the one that culture or community may assign to us, but truly the place God has assigned us.

“Those who wander lack the security of their home and can no longer contribute to their community life.” (Ross)

“An honest man’s heart is the place where his calling is: such a one, when he is abroad, is like a fish in the air, whereinto if it leap for recreation or necessity, yet it soon returns to its own element.” (Trapp)
