Hutcheson Plantation Hutcheson Plantation is owned and operated by Wayne and Kathy Hutcheson. We hold Christmas parties, reunions and weddings.

The center of the 1,000 acres is the Cane Shed which is the main venue for events such as weddings, Christmas parties, celebrations, etc. We provide a venue for senior citizens to meet monthly and have dinners, gospel sings and picnics.

Unfortunately, we are going to have to cancel the family reunion due to damage from the hurricane. Everyone is safe, and the main buildings are fine but there are lots of downed trees and limbs everywhere. It will take a while to get everything cleaned up. Will share a new date soon.

First Christmas party of the season is in the books!

CREME OF COCONUT CAKE - OMG😱 DON'T LOSE THIS😋
Ingredients
1 (18.25 ounce) package white cake mix
1 (14 ounce) can cream of coconut
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1 (16 ounce) package frozen whipped topping, thawed
1 (8 ounce) package flaked coconut
Directions
Prepare and bake white cake mix according to package directions. Remove cake from oven. While still hot, using a utility fork, poke holes all over the top of the cake.
Mix cream of coconut and sweetened condensed milk together. Pour over the top of the still hot cake. Let cake cool completely then frost with the whipped topping and top with the flaked coconut. Keep cake refrigerated.
