Can I speak to your heart ❤️?

Holding on to an offense NEVER punishes the person who hurt you. It extends their impact by giving them rent-free space in your mind, your mood, and your peace.

Bitterness feels like control, but it usually works like a slow leak. The offender most often moves on, they even forget! They NEVER cared as much as you hoped they would. Meanwhile, you're the one replaying the wound, carrying the stress, talking about it to anyone who will listen, and reliving it.

FORGIVENESS is not saying what happened was okay. It's refusing to keep suffering on behalf of someone who already hurt you. It's choosing to close the door they left open inside you. CLOSE THE DOOR! Stop letting it live, when obviously it don’t exist anymore to them.

God is stepping in with power.
