Our Fall Clean-Up Day is all set for Saturday October 17 9am at the Cemetery. This usually takes about 2 hours. Come and help! Social distancing and other safety rules apply of course. Keep in mind Saturday December 12 dusk-8pm for our annual Remembrance Luminaries event! Attached is a nice memory photo of the 2014 Spring clean-up Crew!

Dear Cemetery Friends: 2020 has been an unusual year so far for the Cemetery because of the pandemic. We continue to follow all Govt rules. Some faithful contributors have stepped forth with significant donations, for which we are very grateful. Burial spaces are selling for just $650 each, including flexible terms at zero-interest. We have hundreds of nice spaces available including a few rare opportunities in Section A (between the driveway). Each space can accommodate at least three Urns/ashes. We seek new Members as always, to assure the future, and a new Treasurer and President will be needed. We are thankful for continuing support from the City of Brunswick. ** Thanks ** to Brunswick's Steadman-Keenan American Legion Post 96 for the military honors on Memorial Day at the Cemetery. Flags are posted on 250 Veteran grave sites. I noticed a young family (with several young children) paying close and respectful attention as they stood along Gum Springs Road, and they were obviously describing the event to their kids...very touching.

Coronavirus Resolution – as of April 7, 2020: The Cemetery will comply with all current Federal, State, and Local coronavirus Rules and Guidelines. Visitors are welcome in the Cemetery, subject to ‘gatherings’ and ‘social distancing’ Rules. No events or activities are permitted in the Cemetery until further notice. Military honors on Memorial Day are currently suspended but will be re-evaluated on or about May 1st. Burials may continue, and Funeral Homes shall abide by all Rules. Burial lot sales are suspended until further notice, unless necessary for a death and burial. Inurnments of cremation ashes are suspended until further notice. Grass cutting will continue, in compliance with Rules. Monument installation siting will continue but discussions with Families will be via email or telephone. March 18, 2020: As Park Heights Cemetery President, with the coronavirus situation in mind, I am issuing the following guidance for PHC, keeping in mind that things could change fast: We will continue to support inurnments and burials, and visitors will remain welcome in the Cemetery. We will continue to plan and support Events, each being evaluated (Memorial Day, as an example) as the Event date approaches and with consideration of the coronavirus situation at that time. Clean-Up Day will go on as planned this coming Saturday 3/21 at 9am. Thanks!

Here's most of the 40 BHS Railroaders crew that made the 1,200+ Luminaries possible in 2019!! Plus a few hard working adults, some pizza, some hot chocolate, and a couple of City fire pits. The rain stopped just in time. Thanks to all who walked or drove through.

Today was Clean-Up day for the upcoming cold weather season. Thanks again to Gene and Becky Wood, Jackie Ebersole, and Mike Campbell! The Crew shown was 2013 .. good memories.
