HIS Ministries is designed to bring several Christ- centered ministries together to reach the drug-infested, impoverished community residing around Norwich Street daily, the people in this community face the detrimental effects of

drug addiction, poverty, violence, and prostitution. While there are several ministries and organizations serving the immense needs of these precious people, many are directed towards solving one or a few issues and cannot help everyone all the time. HIS Ministries understands this issue, and wishes to lend a hand by being a connection point for persons in need and the various ministries available to them. Where there is a need that exists outside the options available, HIS Ministries will prayerfully seek to provide solutions.

If you would like to donate items for continued needs due to the wildfires, they can be dropped off at HIS Ministries on Tuesday from 8 am - 11 am and Wednesday from 10 am - 12 noon. Mr. Bill and our leadership will ensure the items are delivered to where they are needed.

Scenes like this one are heartbreaking, but all too common! Our team was able to deliver sausage biscuits to these folks yesterday, and to check on them. They did not want to be taken anywhere, wanting to stay where they were. However, they serve as a good reminder that it is still winter and people are still in need of warm items. One thing we are in great need of is gloves! Can you help? Can be dropped off at HIS Ministries, 2009 Norwich Street. Tuesdays from 8 am - 10:30 am. Wednesdays from 10:30 am - 12 noon. Fridays from 4:15 pm - 6 pm. Sundays from 10 am - 11 am (church service).

Last week the Brunswick Housing Authority had their Senior Christmas Lunch in our HIS Ministries Dining Hall! Such a fun and festive time! We are so thankful that we are able to share our building with our community!!!
