Join the Saint Ambrose Creation Care Ministry, in partnership with Catholic Charities - Diocese of Cleveland and the Laudato Si’ Movement, for a special 𝙎𝙮𝙣𝙤𝙙𝙖𝙡 𝙇𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙎𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣: 𝙊𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝘾𝙧𝙮 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙀𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙝, 𝘾𝙧𝙮 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙋𝙤𝙤𝙧.

Together, we'll explore the connection between our Catholic faith, care for creation, and our responsibility to one another. Through prayerful listening and a “Conversation in the Spirit,” we'll reflect on how the Holy Spirit is calling us to respond.

Our Saint Ambrose family is already sharing the warmth! ❤️

A heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who has already dropped off donations for The Warmth Project! It's wonderful to see the generosity of so many in action.

Every coat, hat, and pair of gloves donated is more than just protection from the cold. It's a gift of warmth, comfort, dignity, and a reminder to someone in need that they are loved and not forgotten.

Let's keep the warmth coming! We're continuing to collect new or gently used, freshly washed winter coats, hats, and gloves at the doors of the Church or the Parish Office.

Together in Christ, we're helping One Hope NEO bring warmth and hope to families throughout Northeast Ohio.

Our pilgrims arrived safely and celebrated Mass together this evening at the beautiful Abbey of San Pietro. 🙏

After a lovely dinner together at the hotel, everyone is exhausted, grateful, and ready to hit the hay before Day 3 of our pilgrimage begins tomorrow!

Let Go and Find Joy ~ What can autumn leaves and a curious young child teach us about faith? Every leaf is unique, and each of us is wonderfully made by God. But just as trees let go of their leaves, we are called to let go, give generously, and share our time, talent, and treasure with others. When we release what we hold onto and trust in God’s goodness, we discover a deeper, more abundant joy.

Our hearts and prayers are with the people of Oregon in the wake of the recent violence.

As a Saint Ambrose family, we pray for all those affected, for those who are grieving, for the injured, and for the families and communities searching for comfort and peace.

May God bring healing where there is suffering, hope where there is fear, and love where there is hatred.

Lord, make us instruments of Your peace. Amen. 🙏

God, at the very dawn of creation,
You breathed upon the waters,
making them the wellspring of creation.
In those same times,
after Your divine breath entered into Adam’s lungs,
You gave life to all humanity.
When Your Son, Jesus, died on the Cross,
He offered His very last breath to You, His heavenly Father.
After the Resurrection, when You breathed new life into Your Son,
He, in turn, breathed on His disciples and gave them the gift of the Holy Spirit.
In our time, that Holy Spirit guided the cardinals in their election of Pope Leo XIV.
Now we turn to You and ask You to fill his injured lungs with that same
Holy Spirit, making him strong and healthy, and removing any trace of illness.
As Leo faces treatment, give him all the gifts of the Holy Spirit, especially fortitude.
Guide the actions of his doctors, nurses, and caregivers,
giving them the Spirit’s gifts as well, especially wisdom and knowledge.
Finally, help Your Son’s Vicar, and our Pope, Leo, trust in You,
Both now in his time of illness, during his treatment, and after his recovery.
Come, Holy Spirit!
Amen.
