Meet your new brother and sister in Christ! Today after lunch, Tyrese and Amani decided to be baptized in Christ for the remission of their sins. We are prayerfully anticipating the Holy Spirit empowering and equipping them for a great new life in Christ. Please pray for them and reach out to them when you see them at church to welcome them to the family.
Two others have asked for further conversation this week and are considering to be baptized next week as well. Please pray for the fruitful progress of this ministry.

He has lots of experience in kitchen design and would welcome thoughts and suggestions. Please come, if only to share in the excitement of the kitchen project that will help us in our service to others. Coffee and pastries will be available.

This was received this morning from missionaries Dave and Galina Binkley:

“Hello Ken, Linda and the entire congregation at Grace Harbor Church of Christ;
from David & Galina in Warsaw, Poland! (We arrived safely after long turbulent flight).
We have had meetings with brothers here and heard their requests for tomorrow afternoon @3:00 pm lesson on encouragement to Ukrainian refugees. Then at 7:00 pm meeting - Encouragement in the Word at the “tabernacle,”where the “big house”is and we will ride there after this meeting (30 min). Ukrainian Christian refugees have lived there since the beginning of the war in 2022. On Saturday we’re both invited to speak to Women’s classes at 2:00 PM in the Kopernica Street meeting place of the Warsaw Church of Christ; then at 16:00 a Youth meeting on 30 Kopernika Street (regular church meeting place).
Sunday at 11:00 I will preach during worship with Galina translating for me. The Sunday services are mostly in Ukrainian language. However nowadays more people are learning to speak Polish, nice of them since we are now in Poland and not certain if they will ever have an open door back to their homes in Ukraine.
Our next “Binkley’s Mission Ukraine” will try to share our excitement about the many faceted work of the fast growing Warsaw Church of Christ and teach, preach, help & encourage Christians and families in Sloviansk / Kramatorsk.
Thank you very much for your prayers and support. Thank you for being loyal partners in Binkleys Ukraine mission work. Love,
David and Galina”

Good evening everyone. I am very thankful that we all were spared from the most recent hurricane. I would ask you to please join me in praying for those who have suffered the horrible destruction in Southern Florida.

Earlier this week my father was in the ER for blood clots in his arms and we learned that he has been falling a lot recently and his blood sugar levels have dropped several times to dangerous levels even though he is on insulin. While in the hospital with him they learned that my aunt Diane passed away and my uncle Johnny was found unresponsive with Covid and pneumonia and was placed in hospice. The following day my mother was also hospitalized for a suspected stroke and kidney issues.
Tonight we learned that my Aunt Linda, who is like a mother to me, was in a horrible accident. She suffered compound fractures of her leg and both ankles, broken ribs and sternum, her neck is broken in two places as well as multiple spinal fractures, she also has a lacerated liver and other internal injuries. She is in ICU at Baylor medical center. While I was calling family to let them know, I learned that my family was gathering around Uncle Johnny to say goodbye. He is not expected to make it through the night. Please pray for my family.
Thanks

God is good. He hears our prayers.

Some of us will be grilling hotdogs and hamburgers at the building from 11am-1pm today for folks who still can’t cook. Come by and pick up a meal for yourself and your neighbor or give us a call and maybe we can drop off some lunch at your door,
