"A prayerful church is a powerful church." — Charles Spurgeon

James 5:16 (KJV)
Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

One of the greatest needs in our churches today is not more programs, more activities, or larger crowds,it is a renewed commitment to prayer. Throughout Scripture, whenever God's people humbled themselves and sought His face, God worked in a mighty way.

The early church was a praying church.
They prayed before Pentecost.
They prayed during persecution.
They prayed when Peter was in prison.

Their power was not found in human ability but in their dependence upon Almighty God.

Prayer is the lifeline of the Christian. It is through prayer that we draw near to God, find strength for the journey, seek wisdom for life's decisions, and intercede for those in need.

A church that prays together will grow together.

A church that seeks God together will experience His blessing together.

Psalm 5:3 (KJV)
My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O Lord; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.

Your Invited to Join us for our Sunday Morning Prayer Time from 9:30 AM–9:45 AM as we seek the Lord together before the morning services begin.
There is no better way to start the Lord's Day than gathering with God's people in prayer. Come and help us ask God's blessing upon the services, our church, our community, and the preaching of His Holy Word.

We would be honored to have you join us as we seek the Lord together.
See you then! God bless.

CHURCH IS TOMORROW... WHERE WILL YOU BE?

Tomorrow is Sunday! It is a day God has given us to come together, worship Him, encourage one another, and hear the preaching of His Inerrant Word. The King James Bible

The Bible says in Hebrews 10:25 ( KJV )
Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

This verse reminds us that church attendance is not just a habit or a tradition, it is a command from God.

The Lord knows that His people need one another. We need the preaching of God's Word, the encouragement of fellow believers, and the fellowship that comes from gathering together in His house.

Notice that the Bible says "not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together." God does not want His children to become disconnected from the church. The Christian life was never meant to be lived alone.

We need the strength, encouragement, and accountability that comes from being faithful to God's house.

The verse also says "but exhorting one another." When we come to church, we have the opportunity to encourage someone who may be struggling, pray with someone who is hurting, and be a blessing to another brother or sister in Christ.

Then the Bible says,"and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching."

As we see the world growing farther away from God and as we look forward to the return of our Lord Jesus Christ, we should become more faithful, not less faithful!

This is not the time to stray away from the things of God; this is the time to stand strong, stay faithful, and keep serving the Lord!

Every service is another opportunity to hear God's Inerrant Word, draw closer to Christ, and be strengthened in our walk with Him.

At Emmanuel Baptist Church, we still believe in the old paths. We still:
1. Preach from the Authorized King James Bible.
2. We still sing the old hymns of the faith.
3. We still pray together as God’s people.
4. We still preach the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.
5. We still stand on the truth of God’s Inerrant Word without compromise and without apology.
6. We still strive to be a church that honors and glorifies God.
7. We still strive to grow closer to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and grow in His grace.

If you have a Bible-believing church home, please be faithful and be in your church tomorrow morning. Support your pastor, pray for your church family, and be where God wants you to be.

If you do not have a KJV Bible-believing Church Home, we at Emmanuel Baptist Church would be honored to welcome you this Sunday.

Whether you are looking for a church home, have been away from church for some time, or have never attended before, there is a place for you. Come worship with us as we sing the old hymns, pray together, and hear the preaching of God's Inerrant, Infallible, Inspired, Preserved, and Pure Word, the Authorized King James Bible.

⚔️ CALLING ALL MEN AND YOUNG MEN! ⚔️

The men of Emmanuel Baptist Church would like to invite all men and young men to join us this Saturday, September 5th, 2026, at 9:00 AM for our monthly Men’s Prayer Breakfast.

We are living in a day when godly men are desperately needed in our homes, our churches, and our communities.

The battles we face are spiritual, and God has given us the truth of His Word and the whole armour of God so that we might stand faithfully for Him.

We need men who are willing to pray, lead their families, stand for truth, encourage the next generation, and remain faithful to the Lord regardless of the pressures around us.

This Saturday morning at 9:00 Am, we will gather together for a time of prayer, fellowship, breakfast, and preaching from the Word of God as we consider what it means to be a godly man and how we can faithfully stand in the spiritual warfare of our day.

Billy Sunday once said, “A man who is not willing to stand for something will fall for anything.”

That is a challenge for every man and young man. What are we standing for?

May God help us to be men who will stand firmly upon His Word, lead our families in righteousness, strengthen our church, and show the young men coming behind us what it means to faithfully serve the Lord.

Our speaker will be Pastor Keith Bates, and we are looking forward to hearing the Word of God and being encouraged and challenged together.

🍳 Breakfast is free of charge, so come hungry, bring your sons, invite a friend, and make plans to be with us.

Brunswick, GA 31520

⏰️ 9:00 Am

Men and young men, we would love for you to join us this Saturday.

Let us come together with a desire to seek the Lord, strengthen one another, and determine in our hearts that, by God’s grace, we will stand faithfully for Christ in our homes, our church, and our community. — GodBless

WEDNESDAY EVENING SERVICE 9/2/26 — PRAYER REVIVAL DAY 4

Thank you for joining us for our Wednesday Evening Prayer Revival Service at Emmanuel Baptist Church!

Tonight, we come together for the final evening of Prayer Revival 2026, and we are thankful for every opportunity the Lord has given us throughout this special week. We are especially grateful to have Evangelist Bro. Benny Beckum with us as our guest evangelist and for the faithful preaching and burden he has brought before us.

What a blessing it has been to gather with God's people to pray, sing, worship, and hear the preaching of His Word. Throughout these revival services, we have been challenged to come hungry for God, thirsty for God, willing to let God search our hearts, and ready to surrender ourselves more completely to Him.

As we come to the final night, may we remember that revival should not end when the meetings end. What God has begun in our hearts should continue as we walk with Him each day.

Leviticus 6:13 KJV
“The fire shall ever be burning upon the altar; it shall never go out.”

The fire on the altar was to be kept burning continually. In the same way, we should not allow the spiritual burden, conviction, prayer, hunger for God's Word, and desire to serve Him that He has stirred within us during these meetings to fade away when revival services are over.

May we leave these meetings determined to keep seeking the Lord, keep praying, keep reading and obeying His Word, keep witnessing to the lost, and remain faithful to Him in our homes, our church, and our daily lives.

Revival is not only a few special services on a church calendar.

Genuine revival affects the way we live when we leave the church house.

May what God has done in our hearts this week become evident in our lives in the days, weeks, and months ahead.

Our prayer is that the Lord would continue to work in our lives, our families, our church, and our community. May He give us a greater love for His Word, a greater burden for souls, a greater desire for prayer, and a greater determination to remain faithful to Him.

We are thankful for everyone who has joined us through the livestream during these revival services. We pray that each service has been a blessing, encouragement, and challenge to you, your family, and your friends.

While we are thankful for those watching online, we encourage you to be with us in person whenever possible. There is nothing like assembling together with God's people, singing the old hymns, praying together, fellowshipping together, and hearing the faithful preaching of God's Word.

Please like, follow, and share this livestream with others. Someone you know may need the encouragement, challenge, and truth that will be shared tonight.

Although tonight marks the final evening of these special revival meetings, our seeking of the Lord must continue. Let us take what God has taught us and carry it with us into our homes, our workplaces, our community, and every area of our lives.

WE HAVE GOOD NEWS FOR YOU!

Prayer Revival continues tonight at 7:00 PM we at Emmanuel Baptist Church would love to have you join us in the Lord’s house for this final evening of our revival meetings.

As we come together tonight, may we not simply look at this as the closing service, but as another opportunity to seek the Lord with humble hearts and allow Him to continue the work He has begun in us.

Our desire should be to draw closer to God and see Him work in our lives, our families, our church, and our community.

Revival is not meant to end when the meetings end. May what God has stirred in our hearts throughout these days continue to burn brightly as we walk with Him each day.
