But I have this against you, that you tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess and is teaching and seducing my servants to practice sexual immorality and to eat food sacrificed to idols.
I gave her time to repent, but she refuses to repent of her sexual immorality.
Behold, I will throw her onto a sickbed, and those who commit adultery with her I will throw into great tribulation, unless they repent of her works, and I will strike her children dead.
And all the churches will know that I am he who searches mind and heart, and I will give to each of you according to your works.
Revelation 2:20-23

Who is wise and has understanding among you? He should show his works by good conduct with wisdom’s gentleness. But if you have bitter envy and selfish ambition in your heart, don’t brag and deny the truth. Such wisdom does not come from above but is earthly, unspiritual, demonic. For where envy and selfish ambition exist, there is disorder and every kind of evil. But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peace-loving, gentle, compliant, full of mercy and good fruits, without favoritism and hypocrisy. And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who cultivate peace.

Fear Not: God's Assurance in Times of Trouble 5/26/24

God speaks to His people, offering words of comfort and assurance amidst their trials. As we look into this passage, we'll uncover timeless truths about God's faithfulness and His promise to be with us in every season of life. Let's explore how we can find strength and courage in God's presence, even in the midst of uncertainty and fear.
Isaiah 41:9-10
"I took you from the ends of the earth, from its farthest corners I called you. I said, 'You are my servant'; I have chosen you and have not rejected you. So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."

1. Chosen and Accepted by God
God reminds His people that He has chosen them and will not reject them.
We are adopted into the family of God (Ephesians 1:4-5). Our identity is rooted in His love and acceptance, not in our circumstances
2. Fear Not, for God is with Us
In the face of fear and uncertainty, God commands His people not to be afraid because He is with them (Joshua 1:9). This promise rings true for us today. Regardless of the trials we face, we can take comfort in knowing that God is present with us, providing strength and guidance (Matthew 28:20).
3. God's Promise of Strength and Support
God assures His people that He will strengthen, help, and uphold them with His righteous right hand. His power and faithfulness are unwavering, offering us the support and strength we need to overcome life's challenges (Philippians 4:13).
As we navigate life's uncertainties and challenges, let's hold fast to the promises of God found in Isaiah 41:9-10. We are chosen and accepted by Him, and He is with us, providing strength and support in every season (Hebrews 13:5-6).
May we find courage and peace in His presence, knowing that He is always faithful to fulfill His promises to His people.

Luke 12:4-5, Jesus confirms this truth: “I tell you, my friends, do not fear those who kill the body, and after that have nothing more they can do. But I will warn you whom to fear: fear him who, after he has killed, has authority to cast into hell. Yes, I tell you, fear him!” If we want to be friends with the world, if we ignore sin, we are enemies of God!

People state “I know God” or they claim to believe, yet they continually live and act contrary to that belief or real knowledge of Him.
Many do not understand the difference regarding a “belief of God” versus “ believing in God”, which is receiving Gods gift of Salvation for eternal life and living a life of obedience and faith in Jesus through the Holy Spirit.

TITUS 1:16
“They claim to know God, but by their actions they deny him. They are detestable, disobedient and unfit for doing anything good."

It is a BLESSING to anyone who truly knows Gods, will choose to walk daily in His statutes, obey His commandments and Love as He loved.

Now if any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives to all generously and without criticizing, and it will be given to him. James 1:5,
God's wisdom is “pure, peaceable, gentle, full of mercy and good fruits.” James warns us to not doubt God’s desire to give us wisdom. With a receiving heart we must ask and He will freely give. Pray for wisdom today in your life.
