LABOR DAY PRAYER

O Gracious God, on this Labor Day, we thank you for giving us jobs so we can earn money to pay our bills and feed our families. Give us the energy and drive to continue doing this labor as Jesus did when He was on the earth. Give us rest when we are weary and make us proud of what we are doing. Thank you for providing leaders who build factories or who need crops planted and harvested. We see no shame in providing food, clothing, and shelter for our loved ones. We ask you to lead us as we seek to accomplish our greater goals. Be with those searching for work, and protect the first responders and crews around the world. We ask you to help us rest when we need it. Give us dignity in whatever we labor to do, and help us receive adequate compensation for our efforts. AMEN 🙏
