Saturday, April 26th is the annual cemetery association meeting at 1:00 pm at the cemetery. If you have any concerns or questions for the cemetery association this is best time to do it.

Come see the new pavilion we have! Very nice!!

Just a heads up, the annual Cedar Point Cemetery meeting is coming up on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at 1pm at the cemetery. If bad weather please see the mailer that will be mailed to you. If you are not on the mailing list for this year let me know and I can put you on it for next year.

Hello all, I just wanted to let everyone know that the meeting that the cemetery association usually has in late April has been postponed for now. Attached is a copy of the letter that has been sent out.

Subject: Meeting Postponement

Dear Cedar Point Cemetery Members,

The Cedar Point Cemetery Association was scheduled to meet at the cemetery on Saturday, April 25, 2020 at 1p.m. for its annual meeting.

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, the board of directors has decided to postpone the association meeting to a later date, which will be announced at the clearing of the virus situation.

Financial Statement
At your request, our treasurer will send you a copy of the association's financial statement for the past year. (Requests should be made to Andrea Stinson, if you would like her email address please message Suzanne here)

Cemetery Maintenance
Maintenance will continue as usual at the cemetery.

Cemetery upkeep (mowing) is accomplished largely through donations. If you wish to contribute please message Suzanne Bailey Monroe here. Memorial donations may be made in the same way at the address Suzanne will supply to you.

Other inquiries may be made to the association secretary - Glenda Griffin or board president - Bob Fry. If you message Suzanne here she will help you with that.

For your information: The annual meeting for the Cedar Point Cemetery association that was scheduled in later April has been cancelled due to the Covid-19 virus (Coronavirus). A new date for the meeting has not been scheduled but will be at a later date. Thank you all for your understanding and please stay well.

Last Tuesday, August 13, there was a fire that affected parts of the cemetery. The property that is next to the cemetery burned and it subsequently jumped the fence and burned the southeast quadrant of the cemetery. The board president was able to get out there yesterday, and took these photos. Please keep the property owners next to the cemetery, they lost their house. We are very thankful for the firefighters and first responders that responded to the fire. It really could have been so much worse! Please be safe out there.
