Being a follower of Jesus is not easy. He called us to live differently. He asked that we give up self. He requires faith in a world that will bring trouble.

But all throughout His life, he offered us solutions. He gives us examples of how to live our daily lives. He teaches us to pray. He uses scripture to defend against temptation. He shows us how to love others and to rely on our community.

Start a Gospel and simply ask, Lord, show me who You are." . Follow Jesus.

What are you holding on to? What are you trying to control? What is controlling your time?

The command to "be still, and know" is far more than an invitation to be quiet. It is a calling. It is an acknowledgement that we must stop.

We must stop holding on to earthly things. We must stop striving for a name on earth. We must cease and realize that the things of this world will all pass away and that God is eternal.

Pursue the things that lead you to God.

"Be still, and know that I am God." Psalm 46:10

The practice of prayer is a rhythm for our daily lives. It's how we build our relationship with our Creator. Being able to speak to God any time and any where is a gift.

We can bring all requests to our Father in heaven who hears us and sees us. For every occasion, lift your voice to God Almighty on behalf of yourself and all His people.

Ephesians 6:18
And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.
