The UG youth group met tonight to eat, play some games, and make “Birthday Bags” for the Purple Pantry! Thanks to everyone who donated…we made 49 bags, complete with everything needed for a birthday party.

Our first youth meeting of this school year is this Sunday, August 30 from 4-6 p.m. We have a fun night planned!

Theme for the night - Why is this in my closet?? Wear something random from a closet in your home!

We will eat some good food, have some fun, work on an exciting service project, and spend some time in the Word!

The Union Grove Prayer Parade hit the road tonight and visited all the schools in Brownsville and the Board of Education to lift up all the students, families, faculty, and staff. What a blessing to pray for a great school year and for our community!

Today was a special morning at church as we gathered for our annual Blessing of the Backpacks. What a joy to pray over students and educators as they begin a new school year—from our sweet kindergarteners to college students, and even our principals and school leaders. Each one carries unique opportunities, challenges, and the chance to make a difference. Wishing everyone a safe, successful, and blessed school year! 💙📚✏️

Students of all ages and teachers are invited to bring their backpacks to worship this Sunday, Aug 2 at 9:30 a.m. for our annual Blessing of the Backpacks. We will cover our students, teachers, and their families with prayer as a new school year begins. 🎒✏️🍎🏫

First Sunday Lunch will follow Sunday School, and all are encouraged to bring a dish or two to share. Join us for a time of fellowship and good food! 🍗🌽🍪🍇

Our last Meet Up Monday was a hot one but so much fun! We caught some fish, ate well, and spent some time in study being reminded that God is always with us, to seek wise counsel, and to keep God first in all we do!

Thanks to all our host homes and to all who supported this ministry with prayers, food, and hospitality! Be watching for upcoming youth programs and the Fall Refuel schedule!

Our last Meet Up Monday of the summer is TONIGHT at 6:00 p.m. at the Frederick's Home. We are going to brave the heat and do some fishing! Please bring a fishing pole and a chair!
