The Adoration of Christ in the Eucharist is but a small offering to the Light of the World, the Prince of Peace, and the Son of God, our Father! We seek those of true devotion and faithful hearts to join our Lord, just as He asked His apostles to keep watch on the mount of Gethsemane. Will you not give the meager gift to Christ of your piety and attend to Him with an hour of your time? Just as His
apostles fought to keep watch for Him, despite their feeble bodies thirst for sleep. We ask you to come, spend time with The Bread of Life and stand vigil through dark nights, frightful weather, and your weary bodies yearning for sleep. Mary’s Catholic Church is manned by an Adorer of Christ who will be as a sentinel over the Sacred Eucharist, the body of, The Son of God. You may submit your time in increments of no less than one hour, but you may undertake more if you choose. This is a holy vow to The Lamb of God that cannot be taken casually, we wish for as many faithful to contribute their time and contemplate in solemnity if this is a union that you will not break, carelessly. In cases of illness or emergency, it is of course understandable to step away, but we ask that you inform us ahead of time, if possible (two hours preferably). Again, we do understand emergencies will happen, as is the natural order. Do your best to inform us, so that we may call a substitute to stand in your place. As a humble follower of Our Lord, you may offer your time as a standby, a regular, or a committed servant. If you offer to be a standby you must attend to the Lord as was your word, for He is present in the Eucharist and should be adored at all times. If you seek to commune with the Lord weekly, you may commit your time for no less than an hour on a day and time that is scheduled specifically for you. If you wish to prostrate yourself to The Son of Man for an extended period of time as His committed servant, you may pledge yourself to Him for a longer period. We do appreciate any interest from our fellow believers in The One True God, but please realize that it is essential Our Lord is accompanied and praised through all hours of the day and night. Difficult late night hours require your loyalty and very early morning hours, just as well. You have made an accord with Christ and will honor it.
