Upward at Cornerstone

Upward Families:

Early registration for our Upward Soccer fall season at Cornerstone starts May 3rd! You can find everything you need to get started by going to our website: https://cornerstonebrownsburg.com/get-involved/upward-soccer/.

A reminder that we will have only one Evaluation date this year. Evaluations aren't try-outs, but a great way for us to get to know you, (players & families) and for you all to get to know us and our program. This is also very helpful for us as we put together our teams for the new season as we look to make our teams fun for everyone.

Evaluation day will be held at Cornerstone on Monday, June 8 from 6pm to 8pm. Evaluations are not required for our 3s, but can be a great introduction to soccer.

Tell your neighbors and friends to sign-up and join us this year!

Our deadline for registration for the fall season is June 8 at the close of evaluations.

Something that we’re REALLY excited about this year is that every family that signs up for Upward at Cornerstone this season will receive a copy of the book, “Away Game” by Brian Smith and Ed Uszynski. This book is a Christian parent’s guide to navigate youth sports. In addition to the book, we’ll provide a 12-week study guide and access to the authors’ podcasts.

Ended up a hot one, but was so cool to see a beautiful rainbow with a little rain as the fields were getting prepared this morning! Such an amazing reminder of God’s faithfulness and how He always keeps His promises.

We have our first full practice of the season tonight at Cornerstone! Be sure to wear your shin guards and athletic shoes or cleats. We'll have extra soccer equipment at the main shelter by the playground. Remember to check out the practice map before you get here to see when your team will be. Hey All! Just a reminder that our Evaluations start tonight at 6pm and will go to 8pm. Have your players come dressed for some drills. Cleats or shin guards are not required for evaluations. Closed toed shoes please.
Come any time during the evaluations. Park in the back and enter into Cornerstone through door #7 to get started, registered and ready for fun!
We will also have a table or two with used cleats, shin guards and soccer equipment ready for another season. Those items are free, but any donation will go back into our Upward league at Cornerstone.

Several families have asked questions about our Evaluations. What and When are Evaluations?

Evaluations are an opportunity for our players and families to get to know our Upward League volunteers and coaches, try some drills, and have some fun. Players will only need to attend one evaluation. Evaluations are not "try-outs."

Evaluations help us create a fun and fair environment for all players and families involved. Evaluations will take place at Cornerstone Christian Church on Thursday, June 12 at 6 pm - 8 pm and Saturday, June 14 at 9 am - 11 am.
