Hey y'all. We are having 2 special Christmas services both at 6 pm. Next Sunday the 14th is a Musical Christmas program and the 21st is Candlelight Carols - our annual candle lighting service with member participation. You and your family are invited!

I ran across this today and thought it worthy of sharing:

I VOTED TO CLOSE THE CHURCH

Last Sunday, I voted to close the church;
Not intentionally,
Not maliciously, perhaps,
But carelessly,
Thoughtlessly,
Lazily,
Indifferently –

I VOTED.
I voted to close the open Bible on its pulpit. The Bible that had been given us by years of struggle and by the blood of the Martyrs who died that we might have it to read. For you see, I could have gone and I should have gone, BUT I DIDN’T.

I stayed away from the church last Sunday.

We must be willing to listen to Him. So many times, myself included, we bring our problems to Christ along with our solutions asking Him to just make it happen. Instead, we should bring our problems to Him knowing we can trust Him and allow Him to move and marvel at His goodness and mercy. RS
