God bless, everyone!

We are blessed to be able to give back to our community by providing free items to those who are in need. What we plan to do this Saturday is inspired by the Word of God in Matthew 25, where Jesus teaches us that when we serve and care for others, we are serving Him.

Everything placed outside is free, and there is no shame in receiving. We are simply blessed to be a blessing. We pray that you spread this post and those who come out it will be a blessing to you and your family.

Blessed Are the Peacemakers

Scripture:
“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.” — Matthew 5:9 (NKJV)

Devotional

Jesus did not say, “Blessed are the peacekeepers,” but “Blessed are the peacemakers.” Peacekeepers often avoid conflict, while peacemakers courageously bring God’s truth, love, and reconciliation into broken relationships.

Jesus Himself is our ultimate Peacemaker, reconciling us to God through His sacrifice on the cross (Colossians 1:20). As His followers, we are ambassadors of reconciliation.

Peacemaking requires humility, patience, listening, forgiveness, and speaking truth in love. It often demands courage, but it produces lasting fruit.

Supporting Scriptures

* Romans 12:18

“If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭12‬:‭18‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

* Colossians 3:15

“And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.”
‭‭Colossians‬ ‭3‬:‭15‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

* Ephesians 4:1–3

“I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called, with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love, endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭4‬:‭1‬-‭3‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

* 2 Corinthians 5:18–20

“Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation. Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God.”
‭‭II Corinthians‬ ‭5‬:‭18‬-‭20‬NKJ

Illustration

A skilled bridge builder does not ignore the river separating two sides. He intentionally builds a path connecting them. Peacemakers build bridges where anger, misunderstanding, and hurt have created division.

Meditation

* Is there a relationship God is calling me to help restore?
* Do my words create peace or increase conflict?
* How can I become a greater ambassador of Christ’s peace?

Prayer

Lord Jesus, thank You for making peace between God and me through Your sacrifice. Fill me with Your Spirit so I may become an instrument of peace wherever I go. Give me wisdom, humility, and courage to pursue reconciliation. Amen.

Challenge

Take one intentional step toward restoring a strained relationship through a kind word, sincere apology, or act of love.

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good report. Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭11‬:‭1‬-‭3‬ ‭KJV‬‬

1. What are you trusting God for right now that you cannot yet see, and how does Hebrews 11:1 challenge or strengthen your faith in that situation?

2. Hebrews 11:3 says that the worlds were framed by the Word of God. What does this teach us about God’s power and authority, and how should that shape the way we trust His promises today?

Dearest Lord, thank You that Your redemption is past, present, and future. You have redeemed us, You are redeeming us, and You will ultimately and completely redeem us. Thank You that You are redeeming all of creation, restoring and establishing it as an expression of Your glory and greatness.

Thank You that as part of Your redemption You are restoring all aspects of our relationships; with Yourself, with other people, with our own selves, and with the rest of creation.

* You have made us right with You, not counting our sins against us but, instead, crediting us with the righteousness of Christ, making us Your beloved children.

* You have broken down the dividing walls between us and other people.

* You have given us a new identity in Christ so that we can love others as well as ourselves.

* You have given us a renewed mandate to manage all creation.

I pray that each day we might advance still further in our recognition and practical living out of these marvelous provisions You have made. In Jesus name, Amen

Pastor Brien….Day 2: Fully Forgiven

Scripture: Hebrews 9:22 (NKJV)

“And according to the law almost all things are purified with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no remission.”

Scripture: Psalm 103:12 (NKJV)

“As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us.”

Scripture: Micah 7:18–19 (NKJV)

“Who is a God like You, pardoning iniquity and passing over the transgression of the remnant of His heritage?
He does not retain His anger forever, because He delights in mercy.
He will again have compassion on us, and will subdue our iniquities.
You will cast all our sins into the depths of the sea.”

Devotional Thought:

God doesn’t partially forgive—He completely removes your sin and chooses not to hold it against you.

Plan of Action:

* When guilt arises, immediately replace it with truth.
* Say: “My sins are removed—I am forgiven.”
* Spend time thanking God for His mercy.

⸻Be blessed, Pastor Brien

Pastor Brien’s message on Sunday….Day 1: Redeemed by the Blood

Scripture: Ephesians 1:7 (NKJV)

“In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.”

Scripture: 1 Peter 1:18–19 (NKJV)

“Knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers,
but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.”

Scripture: Colossians 1:13–14 (NKJV)

“He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love,
in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.”

Devotional Thought:

Redemption means your life has been bought back. You have been delivered from darkness and now belong to God.

Plan of Action:

* Identify one area where you feel bound (guilt, habit, regret).
* Declare aloud 3 times: “I am redeemed through the Blood of Jesus.”
* Thank God specifically for delivering you from that area.

Be blessed Senior Pastor Brien.

Father God, Give us(HWWC) a soul and spirit attuned to Your will. Let us only fear be of disappointing You. Let our only hope be for the redemption of all things in Your eternal presence through eternity. Let us only thought be of doing Your will. Let us only love be for You, and from You for others. Let us only desire be to know You more fully so that we might make You more fully known and more fully love You.

In Jesus name, Amen

Dear Heavenly Father, I am so glad that Your arm is never too short to save me—to pull me out of the difficult places of life. Forgive me for ignoring the Holy Spirit’s warnings and jumping into treacherous waters I should have avoided. Give me the strength to walk away when I feel that check in my spirit that says, “Don’t go there.” I love You, Lord, and thank You for being my Rescuer, my Rock, and my Redeemer.

In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Lord, when You created mankind, You placed him in the garden to tend and care for it. Thank You for preserving a vestige of that high calling in farms. Let the lessons of the farm teach us of your ways in the world. Let us recognize your orderliness, your beauty, and the discipline of an unmixed life. As we, I observe Your cultivation of fields, vines, and trees, may we gain a passion for consistent growth in serving you by blessing others and glorifying You. Show us the power and fulfillment of purpose in the wonder of draft animals as they submit to their masters. Teach us the dignity of blessing others and serving the common good as we observe the hard work and persistence of the farmer. Let us, me serve You with these same traits as we are being pruned by You to achieve Your purposes and bear much fruit so You will be glorified.

InJesus name, Amen!

He is risen!

Heavenly Father,
On this holy day, we rejoice in the victory of life over death
and the light of hope over darkness.

Thank You for the gift of Your Son,
and for the love shown through His resurrection.
Fill our hearts with peace, joy, and renewed faith.

Help us to walk in kindness,
to share Your love with others,
and to live each day with gratitude and grace.

May this Easter bring new beginnings,
stronger faith, and lasting hope into our lives.

Amen.
