SCRIPTURE FOR THE MONTH OF MARCH :Exodus 33:11-14 New King James Version (NKJV)
11 So the Lord spoke to Moses face to face, as a man speaks to his friend. And he would return to the camp, but his servant Joshua the son of Nun, a young man, did not depart from the tabernacle.
The Promise of Godโs Presence
12 Then Moses said to the Lord, โSee, You say to me, โBring up this people.โ But You have not let me know whom You will send with me. Yet You have said, โI know you by name, and you have also found grace in My sight.โ 13 Now therefore, I pray, if I have found grace in Your sight, show me now Your way, that I may know You and that I may find grace in Your sight. And consider that this nation isYour people.โ
14 And He said, โMy Presence will go with you,and I will give you rest.โ
In Moses' frank conversation with God, we learn to pray for those who rebel against God, hunger for the presence of God, long for more of God, and I shine with the light of God. *As we seek after God, and develo a Personal Walk with God this month May God reveal more of himself to us in the Mighty name of Yeshua Ha Mashiach*๐๐พ๐๐พ๐๐พ๐๐พ๐๐พ๐๐พ
Todayโs conversation between Moses and God is pretty gutsy. Moses seems very comfortable with God, even to challenge God: *โYou donโt go with us, we donโt go!โ* Moses is praying real prayers here, nothing held back. And what is even more amazing than Mosesโ frankness is Godโs gentleness, Godโs patience, Godโs reassurance.
When youโre trying to understand a scripture, always look at the context: *whatโs happening around it. The conversation weโre looking at today falls between two separate deliveries of the Ten Commandments on stone tablets. Moses brought down from Mt. Sinai the first set, only to find the nation of Israel worshiping a golden calf. He was so furious he broke the tablets. Later, God would give him a second set. But right now, *God is furious, too*. God has told Moses he plans to send an angel in his place to accompany Israel into the Promised Land, because heโs afraid he might kill them all if he stays with them any longer, due to their continued rebellion.
โ๐พโ๐พโ๐พโ๐พโ๐พโ๐พThis is the setting for todayโs dialogue, as Moses *intercedes for his sinful people before a holy God.* As I look at Mosesโ boldness before God, this is what l see as applications for us.
๐๐พ๐๐พ๐๐พ๐๐พ๐๐พ๐๐พ๐๐พ๐๐พ Like Moses, we need to ...
โ๐ฏ๐๐ฝ *Pray for those who rebel against God*.
Thatโs what Moses is doing at the end of verse 13. He says to God, *โRemember that this nation is your people.โ And notice how Moses includes himself in verse 16 as he asks, โHow will anyone know that you are pleased with me and with your people unless you go with us?โ*
โ๐พโ๐พโ๐พโ๐พโ๐พโ๐พโ๐พ Twice he does this. Moses intercedes for people who have rebelled terribly against God.

Beloved Rekindlers we too need to do the same. We all know people in rebellion against God. After all, if you are not a believer, the Bible says you are Godโs enemy. You are either Godโs friend or Godโs enemy. There is no middle ground. We all have family members who donโt know God. We have friends who are rebelling against God, even if they are not aware theyโre doing it. We have neighbors who are rebelling against God. Maybe youโre thinking, โI know, I know! But what can I do about it?โ You can pray for them. Thatโs what you can do. We need to pray for them regularly. We need to pray often. We need to pray like Moses, ๐๐พ๐๐พ๐๐พ๐๐พ๐๐พ๐๐พ *"Papa God, these people need you. They donโt stand a chance without you. Please save them. Save them from their sin and their selves, that foolish pride that tells them they donโt need you.โ* We need to intercede for those rebelling against God. After all, one of Jesusโ last statements from the cross was a prayer for those who did not know what they did.
Shalom Aleichem and Happy New Month Beloveds
