The Ash Wednesday worship service for Highway 71 Lutherans has been canceled tonight due to the weather. We will have the imposition of ashes next Wednesday when we meet at Faith. PLease share and inform others.

Visitation will be Thursday February 17th from 4-7 and Friday February 18th from 10-11. Funeral service will follow at 11am. All will be held at Zion Lutheran Church.

Please consider helping our confirmation class raise funds to help make 3 local family's Christmas a little brighter this year.

You can help in one of two ways
1. Donate directly to the cause
2. Purchase a 12 pack of fire starters for $10

The Zion students will be teaming up with students from SOV in Clarissa and Faith in Eagle Bend to support these families (these other churches are also asking for monetary donations).

Zion is looking for a part time secretary. Weekly duties included making the church bulletin. There will also be some filing and paperwork that needs to be done as needed.

Good morning! I am in desperate need of volunteers to get this year's VBS up and running. The tentative plan is June 27th- July 1st from 5:30-8.

Again this is tentative until I have enough volunteers. I will need to know I have enough help BEFORE I send anything home with the kids to sign up (and I need to get that out SOON).

"It takes a village" and I can't put this awesome program on without you!
