Faith, Friendship, and a Year to Remember
This year was filled with meaningful moments of service, connection, and community. We were honored as the City of Westminster received the JustServe Designation and Recognition Award. We celebrated a cherished tradition with the 25th Annual Teacher Appreciation Night, expressing gratitude to those who serve our children each day.
Together, we created Easter gifts for Meals on Wheels recipients, gathered for a community Easter devotional and social. Later in the year we delivered gifts of gratitude on 9/11 to local firefighters and police officers in appreciation for their service and sacrifice. We partnered with Justice Necessary to pack female sanitary supplies, hosted two blood drives with Vitalant, and joined with multiple faiths to serve our community in many meaningful ways.
Our youth played a vital role as they served with the Upworth Foundation, packing Thanksgiving meals for families in need. During the Christmas season, more than 250 toys were donated, wrapped, and delivered to Denver North Cares Food Pantry, helping make the season brighter. We closed the year by gathering together to share the story of Christโs birth with our community, a beautiful reminder of why we serve.
