Kids Club and Ridge Students Start TONIGHT!!!

Now that school is back in session and students are on a regular schedule, we are excited to get back to Wednesday nights here at The Ridge! All students, grades 1-12 are welcome to join us midweek from 6:30-8pm. We would love to be able to come together and bring their friends to learn more about how Jesus truly can change their lives in fun and engaging ways! Now that school is back in session and students are on a regular schedule, we are excited to get back to Wednesday nights here at The Ridge! A monthly gathering for those navigating trauma and/or grief from past or present experiences. It’s intended to be a safe space for building relationships, offering support, and showing compassion as we walk alongside one another on our journeys. Together, we seek encouragement in the truth of the gospel—reminding each other of who Christ is and the promises He offers in our deepest pain. All who have experienced a trauma or grief in their lives are invited to join Erin Ketchen and Kelly Brockman to share and discuss tools to cope as well as see Christ in your life as your process these situations. Our next scheduled gathering will be this Sunday, August 30th at 6pm in B10. All are invited.

Don't forget as we wrap up the month of August, we will be collecting school supplies. 6" rulers, small notepads/notebooks, crayons, colored pencils, markers, scissors, glue sticks, pencils, pencil pouches, and pens for Operation Christmas Child. A GriefShare support group is a safe, welcoming place where people understand the difficult emotions of grief. Through this 13-week group, you’ll discover what to expect in the days ahead and what’s “normal” in grief. Since there are no neat, orderly stages of grief, you’ll learn helpful ways of coping with grief, in all its unpredictability—and gain solid support each step of the way.
