We are always excited to have the opportunity to serve you in the great ministry of the Lord. Camp Sonshine is such a special place where God’s people can come together and enjoy wonderful times of fellowship and refreshing in the presence of our Great Lord! It is a
lways an honor to be a part of what the Lord is doing in the great work of His Kingdom! Revival fires have been burning here on the beautiful grounds of Camp Sonshine! We have seen so many come to the Lord this year! Deliverances from substance abuse and addiction, healings in bodies, families and lives continue to come in! Many have been set free from anxiety, depression and oppression! The list goes on and on. There has been such an outpouring of the Holy Spirit camp after camp after camp! It can never be said enough, "The Lord is Good and His Mercy Endures Forever! We are excited to share that the campground renovations have continued through our busy camp season! We are continuously working on bringing these exciting updates and changes in order to make your stay as comfortable as possible! Please know that we are here to answer any questions you may have. If you are planning a retreat and/or event or looking for a location to host an event please consider bringing your event to us! Free tours of the facilities are available upon request. Additionally, we would like to take a moment to highlight a few extra courtesy’s, that we offer to all our valuable clients, to make the start of your event run more smoothly.
- The early check-in option allows you and your staff to arrive ONE DAY PRIOR to your camp event to begin the set up process and preparation for your camp event.
- This early-check-in option is a complimentary service and our way of saying Thank You for being such a valuable part of the Camp Sonshine Family.
- Please note that there is NO CHARGE for the early check-in option and your staff may stay over the night before your camp event begins with no additional fees.
- The campground rental fees do not begin until the day your camp event officially begins. Campground Staff can provide you additional information regarding the complimentary early check-in option.
- Complimentary High Speed WIFI is available at no charge.
- Camp Sonshine has a unique rental fee schedule in that you do not pay a per person fee for rentals. Our rental fees are based only on the number of buildings that are used during your rental event. This allows groups of any size to have the opportunity to host a camp event and keep it affordable for everyone.
- Camp Sonshine does not provide meals for camp rentals. We have a full-sized commercial kitchen available for preparation and serving of food. It is a Kitchen/Dining Hall Combo that seats @ 200 people. It also houses our "Kitchen Quarters" which has 2 private on-suite bathrooms and sleeping quarters for 8 kitchen staff. It is also equipped with a full-sized washer and dryer.
-The Chapel seats @ 350 people and is equipped with Men's and Women's restroom facilities. The chapel rental gives you access to the sound booth. At this time, Camp Sonshine does not provide sound equipment or instruments for rental events. You will need to plan to bring those items.
*However, complimentary use of the projector, screen and stage lighting is available in the Chapel.
- Camp Sonshine currently has 4 sets of dorms. Each dorm can accommodate 56 people each. Each dorm has 4 cabins with 7 sets of bunk beds. This allows for sleeping space for 14 people in each cabin and is completed with cubbies for storage in each cabin. All 4 dorms are complete with updated restroom and shower facilities.
*At this time, all guests should plan to bring their own linens, towels and toiletries
-The Staff House is where our main office is located. However, you will also find staff quarters as well. The staff house has the following facilities:
* Large Lobby
*Nurses Quarters complete with a half- bath on suite and private cabin that sleeps 4. It has one Queen-sized bed and a bunk bed combo.
*Director Cabin (private cabin) complete with a King-sized bed, private full on-suite, and closet.
*Overseer Cabin (private cabin) with a King-sized bed, private full on-suite, and closet.
*Cabin 1 sleeps 3 people
*Cabin 2 sleeps 6 people
*Cabin 3 sleeps 7 people
*In house restroom and shower facilities for Men & Women complete with 2 showers each.
*The Staff House can sleep @ 25 people total.
-The Conference Room is an extra meeting space which is used for a variety of activities such as break-out sessions, recreational activities and more.
-A one-time dumpster fee is added to each rental event for trash pick-up services.
- Camp Sonshine provides complimentary cleaning supplies and products for your use. You will not need to plan to bring those items with you.
- Camp Sonshine provides the first round of toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags and hand soaps for your convenience. All the buildings are pre-stocked for you when you arrive. Please note that a security deposit in the amount of $850.00 is required to make a reservation. All rentals are reserved on a first come first serve basis. Amenities include: Basketball Court, Baseball/Soccer Field, Pool, Fire-pit and more. Should you need additional assistance or more information please contact us in the office @ (352) 345-8871.
