VineLife Christian Church Love God, Love People, Pass It On We gather for worship at 10 am. Before hand there is prayer in the prayer meeting room at 9:30am.

10am Worship - Nursery & Toddler Care, Pre-K - 5th Grade Ministry

I’m so glad you stopped by to check out our church, and I hope that you are making plans to join us this Sunday! So, I’m sure you’re wondering what to expect when you arrive here at VineLife Church. I’ll give you a brief overview, and then the rest is up to you to experience. As you approach the main facility you’ll find a red ten

t with some smiling faces to welcome you; in fact, if you stop by, they will give you some additional information and even help you navigate the building on your first visit. In the lobby, we’ve prepared a variety of hot and cold beverages for you to take to your seat – help yourself (oh, and while you’re here check out the map on the screen to find areas of interest). If you have children, check-in begins 10 minutes prior to our gathering. We have childcare for infants and toddlers, classes for potty-trained pre-k students, and classes for k-5. Expect a time of worship with music, communion, a message, and prayer. At close of service be sure to stop by the tent again to pick up a gift. We are mechanics and doctors, we are engineers and homemakers, we are poor, middle class, and well-off, we are ordinary people and we make up the VineLife Church. We are a followers of an extraordinary God, who loved us enough to send his son, Jesus Christ, so that we might have abundant life, that we might be healed, consoled, and forgiven. Our “dress code” is ordinary, wear what you normally wear. Our music is ordinary, guitars and drums like most of us listen to on the radio. Yet our Sunday morning services are extraordinary because they are empowered by the Holy Spirit, they are focused on praise to God, communion with Jesus, and teaching people about God and life with God.

In Luke 20.27-40

Jesus confronts the Sadducees — religious elites who denied the resurrection and reduced faith to philosophy and social respectability. But Jesus declares that our God is “not the God of the dead, but of the living.”

This message explores why resurrection matters, why eternal life begins now, and how the Kingdom of God offers more than escapism or religious performance. Ours is not a gospel of death, fear, or the sweet by-and-by. Ours is a Gospel of Life.

Luke 20.1-26
31 May 2026

The religious leaders demanded to know by whose authority Jesus acted, but their challenge exposed a deeper problem: misplaced loyalty. In Luke 20.1-26, Jesus confronts corrupt leadership, reveals the true source of His authority, and challenges His followers to consider where their ultimate allegiance belongs. When the kingdoms of this world compete for our devotion, whose image do we bear, and whose kingdom are we truly serving?

Luke 19.28-48
24 May 2026

Jesus enters Jerusalem to the sound of worship, Messianic expectation, and cries of “Blessed is the King!” But while the crowds celebrate, Jesus weeps. In Luke 19.28-48, we see a King confronting the hard-heartedness of his own people, grieving over Jerusalem, cleansing the Temple, and calling God’s people back to their true mission. This is not merely a story about Palm Sunday — it is a warning, an invitation, and a call to become the kind of people who truly live under the reign of King Jesus.

Luke 19.11-27
17 May 2026

As Jesus approaches Jerusalem in Luke 19, he tells a parable about a returning king, faithful servants, and coming judgment. But this passage is about far more than the end times. In this message from our Dear Theophilus series, we explore how Jesus reveals himself as Yahweh returning to reign among his people, calling them to faithful stewardship, fruitfulness, and wholehearted surrender to the Kingdom of God. What will the King find when he comes to his people?

Dear Theophilus: What Kind of King Stops?
Luke 18.31-19.10
10 May 2026

What kind of King stops for a blind beggar… and invites Himself to the house of a corrupt tax collector?

In this message from Luke 18.31–19.10, we follow Jesus on his final journey to Jerusalem and discover something surprising: the cross isn’t just the destination—it shapes everything he does along the way.

From Bartimaeus receiving his sight to Zacchaeus experiencing radical transformation, this passage reveals the heart of the Kingdom of God: Jesus sees the overlooked, calls the broken, and restores the lost.

If you’ve ever wondered whether Jesus would stop for someone like you—this message is for you.
