THAT'S A WRAP ON VBS 2026!! Emerald Crossing was a BLAST— thank you to everyone who poured their hearts out to make this year's VBS special for so many families. This year, your kids raised over $12,000 for mission work among refugees in Greece. THANK YOU!!

We spend so much of our lives looking for something more—more security, more answers, more control, more fulfillment.

But what if the answer isn’t finding something more?

What if everything we need is already found in Christ?

This Sunday we were reminded from Colossians 2:6–15 that our identity, forgiveness, freedom, and fullness are all found in Jesus. The world offers countless alternatives, but only Christ can satisfy the actual need of the human heart. Only Christ can justify meet us in our human condition.

VBS is amazing so far!! Here are a couple quick reminders:
Thursday morning is our Market Day at VBS, where kids will be selling fun crafts to raise money for our missionaries this year— so come with some extra change to support our kids and global missions!

This Sunday we walked through Colossians 2:6–15 and were reminded of a simple but profound truth: everything we need is found in Christ. Because our identity is found in Christ and not in the things of the world, we can walk securely in Him— we can put all of our eggs in one basket!

And because of His victory on the cross, our enemies no longer have the power to hold us captive. Our sin has been forgiven, our debt has been canceled, and Christ has triumphed over every power that stood against us.

So this week, let us rest in the sufficiency of Jesus; standing firm in the freedom He has purchased for you, boldly proclaim the Gospel as you go and make disciples of all nations!

This Sunday we will gather for special services at 9 & 11am as we seek to draw near to God together as one church family! Childcare will be available in Kids’ Community for children ages 0–4, and we encourage families with older children to worship the Lord together in the service. See you tomorrow!!

Thank you to everyone who supported our youth going to summer camp by buying BBQ!!

This Sunday we continued through 1 Corinthians 3:1–4 and saw that understanding God's wisdom requires spiritual maturity.

Just as a child must learn to walk before they can run, Christians must grow in the foundational truths of the faith before they are ready for deeper discernment and wisdom. Spiritual maturity begins with repentance, faith, obedience, and a life submitted to Christ.

As we grow, we are called to put away worldly behaviors—jealousy, rivalry, anger, and other works of the flesh—and replace them with godly ones: honesty, generosity, kindness, forgiveness, and love.

The challenge is simple: Are we growing in Christ, or have we become comfortable in spiritual infancy?

May we pursue maturity, walk in obedience, and faithfully advance the Gospel as we make disciples of all nations!

This Sunday we continued through 1 Corinthians 2:6–16 and were reminded that true wisdom is found in Christ crucified.

The cross is both the foundation and the capstone of wisdom. What the world calls foolish, God uses to save and transform sinners.

Because of the Gospel, we are not who we once were—so we should stop living like we once did. Through the Spirit, God is shaping us to think differently, live differently, and trust Him more deeply.

So the question remains:
Do we really trust God?

Do we trust His wisdom over our own, His truth over the world’s, and His ways over our desires?

As we go this week, may we walk in the wisdom of God and boldly make disciples of all nations for His glory!
