There is no childcare as we want to encourage moms to have time to fill their cups, however, children are always welcome. There is a play room where the kids can have time for independent play.

If you weren’t able to join us last night, here is just part of what was missed. .
We have started a monthly where we are challenging you beautiful Mamas to apply scripture to your life. .
February’s theme is “Love” of course! Our number one commandment that Jesus gave - and one of the biggest things He portrayed - is to love one another. As He has loved us. (John 13:34)
So this month, we challenge you to take the scripture from 1 Corinthians 13:4-7, and replace the word “love” with your name and ask God which of these is true (not just in motherhood, but in marriage, friendship, with strangers or coworkers, in your relationship with Christ) and which of these you may need to work on.
This scripture is a great guide in finding what areas of your life you need to grow in. Are you patient with your children? Are you holding records of wrong in your relationships rather than extending grace and forgiveness? Are you easily angered? When you’re going through a trial, are you hopeful and trusting in God? .
And there are two other ways that parents can use this scripture for our children.
1. To teach our children how to love. When they are fighting with their siblings/friends, ask them if they are showing love - being patient and kind, etc - and turn it around to help them understand what a good friend is when they are choosing friends.
2. For those Mommas whose kids are “dating” or wanting to date, give them this resource to use as the “Corinthians Test” to put the name of their “person of interest” in and if they fit all of these things, that’s a great way to show them how they should be loved and that it’s a person that is okay to date. .

Have you ever gone to use a word and then you repeat it so many times that it starts sounding weird?! Totally just happened while making this! 🤣

Buuuut anywho; Tonight is our first meeting of 2020! We are so excited to gather together and dive into God’s word! And also have adult conversations rather than answer questions like “why do we have two hands? Why can’t I have 4 legs like my dog?” (Question my 5 year old asked today.) 🤣.

With the new year, comes some new changes to Grace Moms!
*starting in February*
•We will now be meeting at different times, more often! Because it’s so important to build this village and give each other that much needed support, encouragement, and live this life side by side.

•We will be meeting the first Monday of each month, at 5pm, an in-home setting hosted by one of our mamas, . There, we will be diving into God’s word together, encouraging each other through out the weeks, and holding each other accountable to reading. And when we gather, bring your favorite dish for a pot-luck dinner, and we will discuss what the word was speaking to us, talk about anything that may be confusing, and apply the word to our life today - The Living Word.

•Child care is not provided, however, there is an upstairs play area and loft where the kiddos can play and Dads are welcome to gather too! Or this could be your once-a-month, kid free, Momma time! Whatever works best for your family! All are welcome! 💕

•And then, every 3rd Wednesday morning, we will meet for play dates. These locations will change, depending on weather, etc, but will be at parks, chic-fil-a or other places we may find to get together, connect and let our little ones play!

We are so excited about the new opportunities for Mommas, both working and Stay-At-Home, to be able to build this Momma-Village. If you have any questions, feel free to send us a message!
