Dear friends and benefactors,
We are grateful to share an update on Sister Mary Savio. Her surgery in Germany is complete, and there were no complications. In a single operation, the surgeons were able to work on both sides of her neck, freeing her jugular veins from the compression that had been restricting the blood flow out of her head.
What the surgery cannot tell us yet is whether it will ease the pressure in her head. That answer will come only with time, and we ask you to keep praying for this intention — especially asking St. Anne for her intercession — as we wait.
Sister Mary Savio will remain at the clinic over the next ten days to recover. We are humbled by your generosity — every gift, every prayer, every kindness has carried her, her family, and our community to this day. We will share more as she heals.
With heartfelt thanks and prayers,
The Sisters of St. Thomas Aquinas
