Tomorrow is Flag Day. 🇺🇸 As we see the stars and stripes waving, may we be reminded of the call to live together as neighbors, seeking peace, unity, and justice for all.

As the apostle Paul reminds us in his letter to the Galatians 5:13 "You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love." 🙏❤️ "

Who doesn’t love a parade - and here in Brooksville we will have one during the Spirit of America:Alive in Brooksville event held on August 2nd!

Volunteers are needed for the festivities - not a huge commitment of time - an hour and a half will make a big difference and volunteering reaps rewards far beyond just the time spent.

✨ **Celebrating 200 Years of Faith and Community** ✨

The West Brooksville Congregational Church is proud to offer beautiful embroidered **200th Anniversary commemorative tea towels** as well as 3D illuminated church cards. Maine themed tea towels are also available.

These special keepsakes celebrate two centuries of ministry in our town and make a wonderful gift or memento of our church's rich history.

You can find them for sale@Brooksville Maine Farmers Market; visit Pam** at **Goodnite Farm's booth** throughout the market season. Wednesdays 9-11:30 beginning June 10, 2026.

Proceeds from every purchase directly support the ongoing mission and ministries of the church, including our food pantry and our efforts to serve our neighbors.

From the balcony, you can see it all — the sunlight in the sanctuary, the simple beauty of this old building, the good work that happens when friends get together.

Yesterday was spruce up day at WBCC and we’re grateful for every hand that swept, polished, cleaned and cared. Our church shines because our people do! Thank you to everyone who showed up with a smile and willingness to help!

The first Friday in Ordinary Time reminds us that God meets us not only in life’s extraordinary moments, but also in the quiet rhythm of everyday faith.
As we journey in this new season of the church year, may we slow down enough to notice God’s presence in simple acts of kindness, moments of prayer, shared conversations, and opportunities to serve others.
