Worship Service will be virtual only this coming Sunday January 25 at 11 AM on Facebook and YouTube.

SNOW STORM EMERGENCY PLAN

1. BEFORE THE STORM
Charge your cell phone fully
Keep a charger and a power bank ready
Stock at least three days of food and water
Keep medications together and labeled
Set the heat to a safe, steady temperature
Keep a flashlight nearby

Write emergency numbers on paper in case your phone dies

3. IF THE POWER GOES OUT
Call the electric emergency number
Keep the refrigerator closed as much as possible. Use blankets and warm clothing instead of candles

If the home becomes too cold, call 311 for warming centers
If you feel unsafe, call 911

4. IF YOU HAVE A MEDICAL ISSUE
Call 911 immediately
If it is not life-threatening, but urgent, call 311

Keep medications visible and easy to access
Tell responders you live alone when they arrive

5. IF YOU FALL OR ARE INJURED
Do not try to stand if you are hurt
Call 911

Give your address slowly and clearly
Stay on the line until help arrives

6. IF YOU FEEL ISOLATED OR UNSURE
Call 311 for guidance and resources
Call a trusted family member or friend and check in. Do not wait too long to ask for help

7. ONE IMPORTANT PRACTICE
Check in with one person once a day during the storm. If they do not hear from you, they should call for help
