The First Baptist Church was founded on April 30, 1953 for the purpose of proclaiming a gospel message relevant to man’s need in a changing society. We preach a risen Christ who works toward the liberation of men from all forms of oppression whether it be spiritual, social, political or economic.

Welcome to worship at First Baptist Church of Crown Heights!

Today we gather to celebrate the faithfulness of God and the sustaining power of His grace. In a world longing for peace, justice, hope, and provision, we come together to worship the One who continues to meet every need and guide every step.

Our worship experience is centered around Ruth 2:7-12 and the message, "Stay In The Field," preached by Rev. Dr. Rashad Raymond Moore. Through the story of Ruth, we are reminded that God's blessings are often found in places of faithfulness, perseverance, and trust. Even when the path is uncertain, God is at work providing favor, protection, and purpose for His people.

This service also includes the sacred celebration of Holy Communion as we remember Christ's sacrifice and proclaim His saving grace. Together we will worship through music, prayer, scripture, fellowship, and the sharing of the Lord's Table.

Whether you are joining us from Brooklyn or around the world, we pray that this worship experience encourages your heart, strengthens your faith, and reminds you to remain where God is working in your life.
