This past weekend, over one hundred teens and parents gathered at St Vladimir's Seminary for a Teen SOYO retreat, hosted by St Mary's Antiochian Orthodox Church in Brooklyn, NY. Fr Nicholas Belcher (M.Div. '05) gave a talk, encouraging the teens in living out their faith. Then, ten SVOTS seminarians from the Antiochian Archdiocese shared their experiences at the Seminary with the teens and then opened up the floor to questions. After a lively discussion, the students enjoyed lunch on the seminary grounds and participated in various service projects to help beautify the campus. To close out the day, the group celebrated an early Vespers service in Three Hierarchs Chapel, with the teens joining seminarians in reading and chanting.
