We have just been informed that one of our parishioners who attended the 9:30 AM Spanish Mass at St. Matthew Church on Sunday, February 28th, tested positive for Covid-19 soon after leaving the celebration of Mass. She said she did not feel well, although she had no fever and still does not. She is not hospitalized, but is in bed at home and is doing well. As per our usual custom during this pandemic, our Churches are sterilized after each Mass. That practice was continued after the 9:30 Mass yesterday. With our Social Distancing practices, seating and Mask protocols, the rest of the congregation should be safe, but we strongly suggest in an abundance of caution for anyone who attended the 9:30 Mass here on February 28th to get tested as soon as possible.
Please continue to keep our parishioners and all victims of this virus in your prayers.
