Baruch Dayyan ha'Emet

We regret to inform you of the passing of Mr. Irving Borenstein a"h- a founding member, past president, and board chairman of Flatbush Park Jewish Center. The Levaya (funeral) will take place tomorrow morning, Friday 4/3 at 11:30 AM.

Although circumstances do not allow for communal funeral services as we are accustomed, we ask that you join us here on Facebook Live at 11:30 AM where we will be streaming, so that we can all pay respects to a man of great dignity and kindness.

We extend our deepest condolences to his family and friends. May his memory be for a blessing.

Our first Facebook Live with Rabbi Perelson went very well. Thank you all for tuning in! The shiur can still be viewed for those who couldn't join, and can be found below on this page.

Though our synagogue doors are closed, we at Flatbush Park will continue to thrive as a vibrant, dynamic, and cohesive community as we shift now towards a model of remote learning, programming, and virtual events. When safety allows, we will iy"h return to our beautiful בית כנסת as unified and strong as ever.

Please stay tuned for updates as more programming and shiurim will soon be announced.

Due to the rapidly escalating health concerns surrounding the Corona virus FPJC is postponing our annual Purim party .This decision is based on the health and well being of our community in mind. We are evaluating options and feasibility for this event at a future date while also recognizing that we must keep a close eye on the COVID - 19 situation.
