Twenty-five years later, we remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, the courage of first responders and all who came to the aid of others, and the families and communities who continue to carry the weight of that day.

As a community of faith in New York City, we hold these memories in prayer. We pray for those who grieve, for those whose lives were forever changed, and for peace in our city and throughout the world.

May we continue to meet one another with compassion, serve our neighbors and carry hope forward.

On the 25th anniversary of 9/11, we remember the lives lost and hold all who mourn in prayer.

During Sunday’s worship, the Grace Lutheran Church Choir offered Steal Away, arranged by Gwyneth Walker.

Moving between quiet sorrow and strength, this enduring spiritual turns toward Christ and the promise of being called home. Walker’s arrangement gives musical expression to that journey, from its mournful refrain to its rising conclusion.

Antonio Vivaldi's Concerto for Two Violins and Cello in D minor, RV 565 is a remarkable example of the expressive artistry of the Baroque period, known for its movement, contrast, and intricate musical conversation.

Through the organ, this beloved work takes on a new voice, offering listeners an opportunity to experience the richness of classical music within the life of the Church.
