"Father all holy, merciful and tender."

As we celebrated Trinity Sunday, our choir lifted this timeless hymn setting by Charles Wood, joining voices with Christians throughout the centuries in praise of the Holy Trinity.

In a season that follows Pentecost and looks toward the life of the Church, this anthem reminds us of the enduring presence of God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, at work among us and throughout the world.

As the Church moves from Pentecost into the season of Trinity Sunday, we are reminded that the Gospel continues to reach across every nation, culture, and generation.

During his mission journey through Egypt and Jordan, Pastor Khader Khalilia shared the message of Christ in places deeply connected to the story of Scripture and the history of faith itself. From preaching aboard the Nile River to experiencing lands that have shaped generations of believers, these moments serve as powerful reminders that the Church is not confined to one place, but united across the world through the presence of God.

From the Middle East to our own community in Brooklyn, the same Spirit continues to gather, guide, and connect the people of God.

Special thanks to Good Shepherd Travel for helping make this meaningful journey possible. Pastor Khader will also be leading a future trip to Egypt, with dates to be announced. Stay tuned for more information as we look ahead to another opportunity to walk through the lands of Scripture together.

Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of Your faithful.

A prayerful offering from our choir this Pentecost Sunday during the Offertory, as we gathered in worship through music, Word, and Sacrament. In this moment of preparation for Holy Communion, we were reminded of the Spirit’s presence among us.

Sometimes faith is found in the big moments, and sometimes it is found in the people sitting beside you.

Today we gathered to celebrate Pentecost, remembering the gift of the Holy Spirit and the ways it continues to move among us through worship, community, and one another. Marked by symbols of fire and Spirit, Pentecost reminds us that we are called together in understanding and connection.

During the service, voices were shared in different languages, reflecting the reminder that even across differences, we can still hear, understand, and belong.

Here is a small glimpse into this morning at Grace. Thank you to everyone who joined us and shared in this day together.

All are welcome here.

Psalm 47 comes alive through choir and congregation. This Sunday, our choir proclaimed the joy of Eastertide through Thomas Weelkes’s All People, Clap Your Hands — a celebration of Christ’s reign, ascension, and everlasting promise.

‘God has gone up with a shout, the Lord with the sound of a trumpet.’ — Psalm 47:5”

If ye love me, keep my commandments.” — John 14:15

On this Sixth Week of Easter, our choir offered this timeless setting by Thomas Tallis as a reflection on faith, devotion, and the enduring words of Christ. Through sacred harmony and worship, we are reminded that music has the power to carry Scripture gently into the heart. We are grateful to our choir for sharing this beautiful offering with our congregation.
