The African Child Project was established in 2011 when a member of Jesus House Church Sister Bernadette announced to senior pastor, Martin Diala that she had a vision to begin a project to feed the children in the African villages. Pastor Martin Diala, without hesitation agreed and announced the project to the congregation. Immediately, a fundraiser was initiated for the project and that same year
Pastor Martin Diala was able to travel to Onicha Mbaise, IMO State, Nigeria to feed over 150 children and their families. The African Child Project helps to decrease the number children going to bed hungry each night, helps tackle ongoing problems of hunger and illnesses, and increasing the children’s faith in God for answered prayers.
