In hebrew school we learnt all about Sefirat HaOmer 📆✡️ and Rabbi Akiva’s journey from an unlearned shepherd boy 🐑 to one of the biggest Torah giants of all time 📖✨
We started off the day with davening 🙏, followed by an interactive class about Rabbi Akiva through a fun skit 🎭, video presentations 📺 and a Kahoot! 🧠 for Gan Daled. After learning 📚 and Alef Champ 🏆 the students all came down to make heart shaped cookies ❤️🍪 symbolizing the importance of increasing love towards our fellow Jew 🤝 during the time of Sefira.

We were thrilled to welcome the amazing John Pizzi, a world-renowned ventriloquist, magician, and comedian who has performed on major stages and television shows around the world.

With his hilarious characters, mind-blowing magic, and nonstop energy, he had the kids (and parents!) laughing, cheering, and completely amazed from start to finish!
