Joy in the Journey Ministry

Joy in the Journey Ministry Want Linda to speak at your church or woman's conference? [email protected] Her local GriefShare group met on Tuesdays and has already helped many.

"Joy in the Journey with Jesus" was borne out of Linda's life experiences as a follower of Christ since her conversion in 1979. As the wife and ministry partner of her husband, Dean, she was instrumental in working hand in hand with him as they built a successful church in Grass Lake Michigan. Together they taught the Gospel and discipled many new converts in the way of vibrant, joyful Christian

living. Linda served not only as pastor's wife, but with her giftedness in the areas of music, public speaking and dramatic sign language, she also became a sought after guest speaker and singer at area events. Instead of allowing the death of her husband in 2008 to deprive her of that "Joy" she had often shared with others, Linda learned that through her own grieving process, God was about to expand on that message. Sensing the need in so many hurting people to find a renewed purpose after suffering the loss of a loved one, Linda has added GriefShare to her ministry efforts. Her counseling to those coping with grief has helped many rediscover the joy of living. In 2011 Linda made a life-changing decision to follow the leadership of God and make a move to Rutherford, Tennessee. In leaving behind her children and grandchild, she has added even still another chapter to her story of "Joy in the Journey". Since arriving in Tennessee Linda has been the guest speaker at several women's events. She was chosen as the local spokesperson for D.A.R.E. in 2012. Due to family illness, Linda has moved her ministry back to Michigan.

Goodness is not found in the head or the hands; it is tucked away in one's heart. According to Jesus Christ, who was not only a good man but also the only perfect person who ever lived, "The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart" (Luke 6:45). Goodness is not a matter of what we know or what we do; it is a matter of what we are.

Have you ever considered that a musician is judged not by how long he plays with how well he plays? As you think about the life ahead of you, what really matters is not how long you live but how well you live. Sir Francis Bacon once said, "Of all virtues and dignities of the mind, goodness is the greatest, being the character of the Deity; and, without it, man is a busy, mischievous, wretched thing."

Just a thought to ponder this morning:
11 Peter 3:18, To him be glory both NOW and FOREVERMORE!
WHAT WAS BOUGHT WITH BLOOD DESERVES TO LAST WHILE IMMORTALITY ENDURES. The glory of the cross must never be eclipsed; the luster of the grave and the resurrection must never be dimmed. O Jesus, you will be praised forever!
As long as immortal spirits live-as long as the Father's throne endures--you will be praised!..
"Lord, I cast my time and eternity into your treasury. I am all yours. Take me and enable me to glorify You NOW in all that I say, in all that I do and with all that I have." Charles Spurgeon
Let's make this a day of great praises that shake the heavenlies!
