St. Ann’s had an amazing day visiting the Sisters of St. Joseph, Brentwood. Their beautiful 200-acre campus is home to many flourishing ministries, including ecological stewardship and education (CSJ Ecological Sustainability).

Heather Coste, Director of Ecological Sustainability, gave us a wonderful tour of the Cosmic Walk, innovative wastewater management, woodland preservation, sprawling meadows, and a farm with goats, chickens, and bees—and there’s so much more we didn’t have time to explore!

Thank you to Heather and the Sisters for their hospitality. We can’t wait for the next field trip!

Happy Juneteenth! ❤️🖤💚 St. Ann’s celebrated freedom and justice at the annual Episcopal Diocese of Long Island Juneteenth Jubilee.
We were especially excited to support St. Ann’s parishioner Tayler Chapman, one of the scholarship recipients of the Barbara C. Harris Scholars Program for Truth and Reparations. This fall, Tayler will attend the University of Miami to study marine biology and ecology. Congratulations, Tayler!

We were thrilled to march again in the Brooklyn Pride Twilight Parade alongside other Episcopal churches — and Brooklynites of all walks of life — who love, affirm, and uplift the LGBTQ+ community. 🏳️‍⚧️✨🏳️‍🌈
