What Comes Next: A Statement to Our Fans
Hi. My name is Brian. In 2017, I started a solo project as an outlet for my ideas deemed too vile by the other bands I played with. I titled the project “Pastor Bob & The American T******n” as a satire of Christian Nationalism. Mark Zuckerberg hated that name, so most of y’all know the project as PB&TAT.
In March of 2025, PB&TAT debuted as a full band featuring new touring members, including Frankie and Sturge. I brought the two on board knowing very little about them, aside from the fact that they met my particularly high standards: motivated, bursting with energy and passion, and willing to travel the globe to perform songs about cranking one’s hog to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Over the last year and a half, Sturge and Frankie have become a core part of this band’s identity. Their energy and personalities have further shaped our live show into something truly unique, and their distinguished sound and style as musicians led to new and innovative ways to disappoint our loved ones with the release of tracks like “Christmas Seed.” Within a few months of working together, I struggled to imagine what the band would look like without each piece of our core trio.
Many of you have noticed that Sturge and I have performed as a two-piece for the majority of our recent shows. Behind the scenes, we have been working to create a dynamic that is healthy and sustainable for all three of us. Ultimately, this means that Frankie will be stepping down from their role in PB&TAT.
Sturge and I are incredibly grateful for our time with Frankie and wish them the best in their future endeavors. While their presence will surely be missed, this poses an opportunity for all three of us to create brand new, boundary-pushing material.

Sturge and I will give an unforgettable performance on October 16th in Memphis, November 2nd in Kansas City, and December 11th in Columbia. Beyond these three special, can’t-miss shows, we will hold off on booking shows until we have secured a new drummer. In the meantime, Sturge and I will be hitting the studio to record some of our greatest songs to date. We’re really excited for you to hear them!
Our unreleased sophomore LP is a deep dive into addiction, mental illness, and a world that is progressively harder to understand. It contains some of our funniest material to date, but also some of our darkest and most emotional material ever released.
For many of you, this will be a new side of us we’re eager to introduce. For others, your long-standing requests for us to release fan-favorites from our live show are soon to be answered!
