Good Shepherd Bay Ridge We are a faith community dedicated to serving our surrounding community with the love and radical hospitality embodied by Jesus Christ.

An extended table of the beloved community that welcomes all, discerns and acts according to the needs of our neighbors and embodies the justice and compassion needed to uphold and honor the human dignity of the most vulnerable. As an all inclusive community, we welcome all people as children of God, regardless of race, nationality, gender, sexual orientation or religious background. Our worship i

s hospitable, innovative and child-friendly, inviting children to participate with songs and imaginative story-telling. Our Sunday services are both liturgical and progressive - utilizing a blend of hymns, spiritual songs and other world music. We trust that because we have received the abundance of God's grace, we are restored to joyous communal life at every gathering. We believe that the sacred scripture remains a soulful force to our own well-being and the well-being of our families and the larger community. You are warmly invited to our Sunday service and to all events that take place throughout the week.

As NYC became the epicenter of the pandemic in March 2020, we began organizing and mobilizing our members, allies, and those affected by this mutating virus and that are now known as essential in our communities. We are grateful to many who have and continue to stand with us. We have been connecting our table of worship with those in our kitchens, at work, in our gardens. Thank you to our members and the mutual aid groups, North Brooklyn Angels, Camp Friendship, other ministries, friends and the many, many volunteers.
