A strong foundation makes all the difference.

This Sunday, we reflected on Matthew 7:12-27 and Jesus’ teaching about the wise builder who built his house upon the rock. When the storms came, the house stood firm because it was built on a solid foundation.

Life will bring challenges, but when our faith is grounded in God and His Word, we have the strength to endure and overcome.

As you go through this week, consider this question: What foundation are you building your life upon?

What we focus on has the power to shape where we are headed.

This Sunday, we reflected on Matthew 14:22-34 and the story of Peter walking on the water. As long as Peter kept his eyes on Jesus, he was able to do what seemed impossible. When he shifted his focus to the storm around him, he began to sink.

The same is true in our lives. Challenges may come, but when we keep our eyes on God, He gives us the strength to keep moving forward in faith.

As you go through this week, ask yourself: What am I focused on?
