Next week is a busy one at Bushwick Abbey and we'd love for you to come celebrate the season of Lent with us!

Tuesday at 6:30 PM: bring your friends, family and neighbors to eat pancakes and make ashes out of the Palm Sunday palms with us at Shrove Tuesday
Wednesday at 7 PM: come celebrate the beginning of the season of Lent with the Eucharist and imposition of ashes
Sunday at 11 AM: our usual service, with extra emphasis on the beginning of lent

Before the year gets too far ahead of us, we'd like to take a minute to reflect on Bushwick Abbey's "2025 Wrapped" and the ways our church and community partners were able to gather together and be in service of our community.

To say these are difficult times in our country feels like an understatement, full stop. WIth that said, we hope to provide some sense of community this Sunday as we discuss Matthew 3:13-17.

Will we be changed by Jesus? Will we be challenged?

It's the first official day of Winter which means the celebration of Jesus' birth is only 4 days away!

Bushwick Abbey is celebrating this gift to humanity with a Christmas Eve service on December 24th at 6 PM. Bring that friend of yours that is alone for the holidays and come get in the Christmas spirit. As always, all are welcome - no church membership or sin free past required.

1. See these smiling faces!
2. Hear a message on Matthew 11:2-11 and God's work in our lives not always lining up with our vision.

STAY after church to:
1. Help decorate the outside of the church for the Christmas season - warm gloves recommended.
2. Get free pizza and hot chocolate for doing so!
