Greetings! My name is Leanne Jones. Owner and operator of Ms. Jones Funeral Services. I am a first generation, New York State Licensed Funeral Director with over a decade of experience.
I can remember, as a child, stopping in my tracks and looking in wonder at the hearse every time one passed me by. The hearse commanded the respect that required that cars stop and give the right of way to a grieving family. In those days, folks would pause, while taking a moment to honor a life lived. I remember wanting to be a part of commemorating those who have passed on.
After holding positions in several other careers, it was only natural that I pursued funeral directing. As a result, I graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Mortuary Science from Nassau Community College, located in Long Island, NY.
