Congregation Beth Elohim CBE is a spiritual, cultural, and intellectual hub for Jewish life in Brooklyn and beyond. https://linktr.ee/cbebk

Congregation Beth Elohim, fondly known as CBE, is a spiritual, cultural, and intellectual hub for Jewish life. CBE offers authentic, meaningful, and outside the box Jewish experiences for those in our Brooklyn community and beyond. We are deeply committed to education for all ages, community-building, spiritual life, and social justice. We are inspired to learn about our tradition while we engage with the present and positively impact our future. Our Reform congregation welcomes seekers from all Jewish movements, from other faiths, and at all levels of Jewish experience, including those who are new to our traditions and those who are questioning.

As the 5787 year continues to unfold, we’re excited to start a monthly series highlighting the CBE Music Team!

Cantor Josh Breitzer has served as cantor and music director since 2011. Under his unique artistic stewardship, CBE has become a beacon of dynamic, pluralistic ritual activity, attracting international attention and growing to over 1400 families.

This rendition of U*i Hitman’s rousing “Adon Olam,” from the end of Erev Rosh Hashanah services, captures the joy and vibrancy of CBE as a full-throated singing community!
